Okay, so you all know I'm writing a fic... I was going over old episodes to maintain some sort of continuity and I watched the Ep. Distractions.

As I was watching, remember when Sylar attacks Mrs. B? She's on the floor looking up at him? This is the scene that made me start thinking...

Sandra really didn't look scared... she had that, "Well, that's it then..." look on her face.

PLUS, Sylar raised his "cutting finger" toward her... seconds before Noah comes crashing through the door to $%^@ Sylar up...

Do you guys think that maybe Mrs. B has an ability?

Hmmmmm..

Just a thought...

I doubt it. Sylar just wanted revenge on HRG for holding and experimenting on him. And he knew how much family meant to HRG... sad.gif

Also, she was starting to have the side effects from the frequent memory wipes, an adrenaline rush from figuring out that Sylar was dangerous, and having been thrown against the closet (we don't know how hard).

You have to feel sorry for her though.

Edit: For the sake of a fic, she could of course just keep "forgetting" about her ability wink.gif

I don't think so. In Company Man, she finds out that Claire has an ability. If Sandra had one, why wouldn't she tell Claire then so we can have Mother-Daughte Bond Time. Also, if she had a power (assuming it was offensive) wouldn't she have tried to stop Ted from going nucular?

and maybe along with the mind wipes the Haitian could have romoved the memory of her ability for his "higher power"

Hmm? Hows them apples!

If it were possible for the Haitian to remove the "memory" of an ability from someone, OWI would have had the Haitian do so on Ted when they had him. There's a scene in "Company Man" that briefly mentions that at the time when Ted manifested his abilities, there was nothing they could do to stop it. Mr. Bennet could have lied but I do not find that likely.

Besides, the abilities are genetic traits. In "Five Years Gone" Mohinder explains that there is no cure for the condition. I think they would have considered using the Haitian's ability to "remove" abilities from people if it were possible for the Haitian to do so.

HRG did try to get the Haitian to make Claire forget about her power

it wouldn't have "stopped" the power, though. it would just lead to her re-discovering it

ditto for Ted ... but Ted was more dangerous not knowing about his power

so if Sandra does have a power, and the Haitian wiped her memory of it, it's presumably a non-offensive power like Claire's

besides, it's obvious that Mr Muggles is the other one in the family with a power

Meh. Why does everyone has to have power. Let the old lady be a normal mother.
