Yeah, he sings. He said somewhere he was in a few musicals and that he's a baritone. Plus he was singing "Suddenly, Sylar" with Ellen Greene, so he can't be that bad.

And I would buy the DVD just for Suddenly, Sylar if they included it. *crosses fingers*

Nobody, that I am aware of, has seen any video fotage, but we're all hopeing that they'll put it on the DVD. But I found the article that mentions it. ---
QUOTE
“Generations.” Tom Galloway checks in with a question about Sylar's mother, played by Ellen Greene. "Just to confirm, the mention of Oregon as somewhere that's green was an intentional reference to Ellen Greene's best known role in 'Little Shop of Horrors,' right? But then, a friend of mine is now threatening to write a flik titled 'Suddenly Sylar' in response." It's funny that you say that Tom, because on set Zach Quinto (aka Sylar) was actually singing Suddenly Sylar in his best Audrey impersonation, which, I must admit is pretty damn good. While we kept the line, because it was such a great reference to Ellen Greene's past, Aron originally wrote the line as a shout out to friends Kristen and Michael Mangan and all of their friends who live up in Portland and watch the show religiously.
And here's the link -

In the Merillwood interview, he noted that he did sing. He had a baritone? To paraphrase, he basically said he used to sing (theatre) but is probably a bit rusty now. I am pretty sure he said he was a baritone too.

Yes, he said something to the extent "I'm a baritone, so I wouldn't get a lead role like a tenor or something". I know he talked about it in the Merillwood interview, but i'm not sure if that part was in it, or if it was from a different one.
