We're glad you love the characters of Heroes enough to want to expand on their lives. We also welcome the creativity and writing skills it takes to create fan fiction.

That being said, here are a few guidelines:

Do not post or write about a scene or situation that a typical person would not feel comfortable watching.

Remember, this is supposed to be a PG-13 site. While there is some debate on what PG-13 entails, the above is a good measure of what we expect. The average fan does not want to read in graphic detail about the sexual lives of our Heroes (or others, for that matter.) Also, situations centering excessively around rape or other violent circumstances will be edited or pulled. Lastly, any sexual situation regarding a minor... regardless of whether or not it is graphic, will be pulled instantly and the author put on a Moderator preview status.

Stories will be removed.

We may not always post in a thread before pulling or editing a story. We will also be taking action on older stories, as we come across them.

We will close this section if these guidelines are not followed.

Please, do not force us to do that. Also, please do not link to these kind of stories off site either.

If you come across objectionable stories, please, feel free to use the nifty little 'Report' button to the bottom left of every post. One of us will take a look at it.

Moderation

It is up to the discrection of the moderating team to decide which stories are objectionable. If there is a question about our decision, you may always PM a mod and ask. We will do our best to get back to you in a timely fashion and explain the decision, but there is never a guarantee that we will reverse the decision.

Please do not complain in public about a moderation decision on the boards. That distracts from the purpose of the forums (to discuss Heroes.) It is also against the Forum Rules
