Masi Oka, nominated for an Emmy for his portrayal of time-traveling Hiro Nakamura, is pleased with the audience support, but he adds that Heroes must listen when viewers aren't 100% happy, as was the case with the heavily promoted season finale.

"It was sort of a mixed bag. I heard people who absolutely loved it, and some people were mixed about it. From my perspective, we had a lot of stories to tie up. If we had the two hours to tell the story we wanted to tell and finish it off, they would have been blown away," says Oka, speaking between scenes at a rustic, feudal encampment on a horse farm northwest of Los Angeles.

I agree with Masi on this.

I still say if they had lumped Landslide and How to stop an exploding man together, the finale would have came off looking alot better than it did.

Yay! Proof - Heroes knows its mistakes, and will (hopefully) improve upon them!

Wow, tons of news for the next season. I'm also glad that Masi admits that the season didn't end perfectly. Hopefully Kring and the others realize that many people weren't so happy with the finale as well.

Haha. I guess it was in the paper. I thought I noticed on the paper while I was riding in the car and passed by the USA Today box for like half a second. I've become so obsessed with Heroes I notice it anywhere. LOL

You know, after watching the entire season (in 2 days) I don't think there was really anything wrong with the finale, though a 2 hour season finale, that Masi hinted they wanted to do, would have made the finale truly incredible. My only issue was that Heroes had such big breaks of time in between some episodes. Though, I was so sold on the program, that it didn't lose me as a viewer. All I can say about people who were turned off by that, "get tivo, and don't be so impatient."
