After watching this episode on the DVD again, I noticed that the beginning of this episode and the ending of episode 9 are different. They're supposed to show the exact same event:
- Hiro tells Charlie that he's there to save her
- People surprise Charlie with a cake
- She tells Hiro to come over
If you watch the ending of episode 9 and the beginning of episode 10, you see clear differences. It's not anything mind breaking, but I just thought it was kind of interesting.

Same thing with end of episode 16 and start of episode 17. Maybe the director overlooked this? I am assuming they did this on purpose.

Yes, that instance also stood out to me. I wonder if it's the same scene shot from different cameras, or a whole new setup.

i think this has happened before on a few eps , im not 100% sure why but i thinks its because a new ep sometimes has a new director and he has to re-shoot the final scene - doesn't sound like the best way to do it , but i remember reading / seeing something about that on 0.7% , they had to re-shoot the opening.
pretty sure it happened when future hiro gave peter the save the cheerleader routine ...

I've heard that they did it this way because that's how its done in comic books, but I don't really know.
One of the best is between Collision and Hiros(?). At the end of Collision Claire wakes up in the morgue and says "Oh Shi-" low and behold no explicitives in the next episode even though they show her waking up again.
