It's been 4 months. Who knows how many powers he ran into. Though, shouldn't he remember since he should have Charlie's power from Sylar.

I read that Kristen bell's character has electrokensis, I'm guessing if thats correct he got it form her because she is supposed to be connected to his 'death'

I don't think he absorbed the iPods, but rather the Irish thugs were meant to find Peter. As for him using Ted's power, an EMP does not cause physical damage to humans, it just fries electronics.

The electricity powers (and haircut ) are cool, but I'm pretty sure we don't have any hope of deciphering where they came from unless we figure out where he's been.

My theory, but it requires spoilers because of what the theory is based on:

Kristin Bell's character, Elle, is rumored to have electricity. Thus she has something to do with Peter being in that crate, most likely revealed in the flashback episode that they will be doing to fill in the gaps. Also notice the Haitian's necklace around Peter. So either the company is behind this or perhaps even Mama Petrelli herself, but it was a way to take Peter, move him somewhere where he could be safe, and forget completely who he was. Of course, leaving him handcuffed to a crate also makes me think maybe the people who put him there just left him to die...or were expecting someone else to pick him up?

what i wanna know is how the heck does a chain and a padlocked storage crate hold peter when he has like 15+ different super powers. doesnt he have super strength from the split personalities chick cus they met in the season finale? i mean come on, at least hold peter hostage a little better then that.

I doubt it's Ted's power as it looks different than even the EMP. I'm sure he did pick it up somewhere in the last 4 months and we will see who gave it to him along the way. I do like that he's wearing a necklace at least similar to the Haitian's. Could be that Mrs. Petrelli is involved.

I really hate to be one of those guys, the ones that cry realism but it's a shame Peter didn't pull a Emperor force lightning trick.

I was almost sure it was telekinises. There was a lightning guy in one of the GN, but i'm not sure how he would have come in contact with Peter. Also I didn't think that it was the Haitians necklace but just another one with the symbol. However if it was the Haitians it would explain the memory loss.

If he could he probally would look like the Emperor but then seeing Nathan's "reflection" he looks like the Emperor. But the bad attempt to be Ken or Ryu isn't working. Maybe he can light up a night light with those party tricks. Or pull an Uncle Fester.

yeah that could be true. since everyone changed the future, the guy that Peter met at the "Specials" prison in the future who had lightning powers could have easily come into contact with him in the last 4 months. but like everyone else keeps saying some chick has the lighting powers soooooooo yeah.
