...except for Hiro. I am sure everyone noticed that while everyone else was 4 months forward, Hiro's story appears to have picked up RIGHT where it left off, how do you explain that ?
themightytruk
Hiro wasn't in normal time. He's in the past.

What is there to explain? That is how they choose to tell the story. huh.gif

("Four Months Later & 336 Years Ago" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.) wink.gif

But its not like he has been in the past for 4 months like everyone moved FORWARD 4 months in present time. Are you saying past time is slower than present time?

Everything in the past has already happened. They are choosing to show you from the start of Hiro in the past. What's to explain?

Can you end a comment without "what's to explain?"

In the WRITING OF THE SHOW, I just find it inconsistent that 4 months have passed in PRESENT time but NOT in PAST time?

Unless the show's "24", the storytellers will tell the story based on whatever amount of time they wanna share. You don't see the time people are sitting and waiting - that's skipped - so why can't the storytellers share/intertwine Hiro's story with what's happening 4 months later for the others? They also didn't tell much about Niki, D.L., Micah or Sylar, and something might've happened with them 4 months later... wink.gif

Not sure why everyone is getting so hot...just seems a LITTLE strange to me, that's all blink.gif

Hiro's story is disconnected from everyone. He's on an independent timeline. You can't say because we are looking at everyone else at a certain time we have to see Hiro at a certain relative time. Everything that Hiro does has already happened basically. The writers thought it was important to tell Hiro's separate story from the moment he arrived in 1671.

I get what you're saying, you think Hiro should be the past but 4 months ahead from where we left off.

To explain this I'll take a guess at the parallel times are't happening at the same time, if that makes sense?

Sure this episode was 4 months ahead but the Hiro timeline isn't 4 months ahead, its a different timeline all together so is insignificant when you think about the present episode being 4 months ahead.

From the producers point of view its two different episodes to some extents.

Well, as you can read, your comments about strangeness has been recorded. And others have made their own comments. Fun how correspondence works, huh?

Actually, Truk has only ended one statement with "What's to explain." Idallia started a post with that phrase... biggrin.gif

I don't think anyone is getting 'hot.'

And, since I'm not sure there's much left to discuss, I think I'll close the thread...
