Look at all the scenes in this episode that have nathan in it. He is wearing a necklace around his neck, you can not see at any time what is hanging from the band, but the band looks very much like the band of the necklace Peter is wearing.
Could they both be wearing helix necklaces?
If so...what does this mean?

MY THEORY AFTER REWATCHING THE EVENTS SEVERAL TIMES..
Nathan bumps into Ando as he is bringing the paper to Hiro's father. As any good pick pocket knows a bump is enough to distract a person to either pick a person's pocket..or in nathan's case slip a picture into the paper Ando is holding.
Next we see Nathan entering Peter's aprtment with his mother inside. While he was still outside the aprtment I believe Nathan planeted the next photo on the wall outside the door. He then calls his mother evil and throws her out and she finds the photo he planted.
Nathan is wearing this HELIX necklace for a reason.
He was burned in the explosion that "killed" his brother. He blames his mother and the people she worked with. The villain of this season finds Nathan and tells him he will heal him on the condition that he help with his ultimate revenge. Nathan wants revenge as well and joins forces with the villain and helps plant the photos. Nathan is feeling guilty over everything that has occured and looks in the mirror while at the bar and sees what he looked like before the villain and his society of helix wearing necklace guys healed him. Anyway that is my theory

I'm not sure if I am the only one who noticed this, but in the first episode Nathan was clearly wearing a necklace underneath his shirt that looked very similar to the one Peter was wearing at the end. You can't see the helix symbol but the string around his neck looks exactly the same...:

Yea i saw some pics of Nathan wearing the Helix symbol, which makes me think that the Haitian somehow found Nathan also (or he was told to find Nathan somewhere after the explosion) or incountered with him somewhere and then erased a part of his memory? Why would Nathan else be wearing the necklace one that looks exactly like what Peter has one? I know its a wild thought that the Haitian would erase a part of Nathan's memory but maybe someone didn't want Nathan to know something?

i don't really see the helix,(stupid glare), but its possible. why would the haitian want to earase nathans memory? he didn't do anything bad (that were aware of). maybe its not the haitians necklace that hes wearing. maybe its his own, and some one that captured him, gave it to him.

i unno. i guess we'll have to wait and see.

wht if ther is another group out there that found them that the Haitian is a member of and the Haitian dose not have to be the one who erased the memorey peter was close enofe to the Haitian afew times to get his power hes had some miss fiers with powers before mabey as thay exploded or were flying he erased the memoreys or mabey thay landed together and something went rong so peter erased the memoreys

WOW! That's an awesome theory and you totally have me sold on that. Except maybe the villain of this season healing Nathan’s burns cuz well, that was the power of the villain of last season (Linderman.)

However, everything else is an excellent point. Nathan was definitely in the right place and the right time to plant both of those photos and if you’re going by how bitter and emo he seems about the whole turn of events and Peter’s death, he had time, opportunity and motive to place those pictures; it's kinda perfect.

But some thing is definitely going on with that Burned!Nathan reflection and I just don't know enough about what’s going on so far this season to make a decent conjecture about that. I kept falling back on Candice but just as quickly dismissing her as the cause. After her comic this summer and a rewatch of How to Stop an Exploding Man, I'm super convinced she's not dead, but I don't expect to see her again either. Still, it's a stretch to assume she's hanging around or teaming up with Nathan for what ever reason, but is still tormenting him by dropping the illusion enough for him to see his true face. And it's even more of a ridiculous stretch to think that Peter somehow transferred some of his powers to Nathan and then Nathan some how ran in to Candice and absorbed her abilities... talk about contrived So yeah, I'm not taking any more guesses, I kinda suck at it.

I wasn't sure if it was just a regular necklace or an actual helix -- the pics were so blurry.

It's not a stretch when atomic particles are involved. And that's what both Peter and Nathan were embroiled in the season finale. It's not a stretch that some of their cells are swapped and Nathan gets a part of Peter's healing power.

I've thought about that as well. Also, the radiation could've mutated Nathan's DNA. Anything is possible on this show.

Hehe. And somebody else who has my cracked theory of Nathan getting some of Peter's abilities thanks to having his powers mutating. I was trying to explain the visions, which I think are more than just hallucinations from being deep in depression and probably suffering from at least one psychosis.

well maybe the Haitian did, lets suppose that affter the explosion nathan ended up knowing where peter was.. the hitalion could have eraced both their memorys, nathan so that he wouldnt know where peter had gone and peter of everyting so that he wouldent know he had all thies powerd and break free from here they are holding him... this of course would have given whoever was holding him time to convince him to join their (who ever they are) side..

That would explain why when the "Hooded Figure" jumped off the roof with Hiro's Father that he wasn't on the pavement below. I mean he can fly afterall

Interesting theory. Oddly, I kept thinking about the story of the 47 Ronin after seeing this episode http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forty-seven_Ronin. Especially after seeing a drinking Nathan. Perhaps, everyone got together and are part of a bigger plan to bring the company down. Perhaps the Haitian mind wipe was done for the same reason it was done to HRG - to help cover their tracks until they are ready to attack. How about this.. What if Nathan was always an emp like Peter but he just didn't know how to access his other powers... If so, perhaps Papa Petrelli's power was flight (though I myself highly doubt that) but could see that linerage of power being linked back to the boy who could fly.
