People keep saying how Nathan this season is so guilty about him letting his brother die. As far as i am concerned that idea went out the window when he said "he's not dead". I think if anyone would know this fact it would be the one who flew him in the air to explode. My guess is alot happened to the two of them directly after this and Nathan's guilt is because he is ashamed of himself for letting it get to that point. He had the power to stop the bomb before he did but didn't. The shot which leaves me thinking what happened after Peter blew up was the shot in the intro where Nathan (looking just as he did after the finale) rushes onto Charles roof and it looks like there was a fire or some destrution with, what looks like ash, falling all over.

i really wanna know what that rooftop scene was all about. ahhh...and he should know pete cannot die since he has claire's power and mama petrelli should know better he wouldn't too! they should just think that he is lost somewhere...bad continuation! cause he has all those powers he can protect himself even if he cannot remember who he is(ahem...last scene?). tongue.gif

I think Peter and Nathan are a lot closer than normal brothers. In an easrlier episode they were talking, and Peter said something to the effect of "You're Nathan Petrelli" and listed off his deeds, titles and accomplishments, then finished with "with or without me", to which Nathan replied "How do you know I'm not those things because of you?

In the same episode their mom was telling Peter how much of Nathans accomplishments came at Peters expense, but Peter never stood up for himself. I think this season will show us how they need each other as much as Maya and her brother do.

Nathan just thinks Peter is lost, and is looking for him in every bottle of whiskey he comes across.

I like that theory! In fact, as a loyal fan, I'm going to do everything I can to help Nathan find him..I won't stop till I've checked the bottom of every bottle I can find.. biggrin.gif

Pretty much. Peter seems to be able to see what happened to Nathan when he got into that car accident. This is different from his usual vision, which is not a direct vision of what's going on. Wonder if Nathan can do the same thing.

I still think that Nathan might suspect the worst for Peter.

Think about it, Peter's been missing for 4 months, no one's been able to find him.

He might suspect that he's dead, and hope that he isn't, thus the, "He's not dead." statement.

Idk... I could be wrong. smile.gif

I think your making to many assumptions. All we know is what happened at the end of the finale and what we saw last week. For all we konw Peter and Nathan have been in contact and only a couple of months ago he went missing. I htink we need to listen to what Nathan says till we know more.

True. smile.gif

I try not to read into things too much, but this is just my own personal opinion. I mean... I don't see how Nathan could react so strongly about it without possibly thinking the worst of what happened.
