So, at first I was kinda digging on this little idea of "The Box"
Someone wipes Peter's mind(Haitian? Working for who? To what end?) and sticks him in a shipping container traveling to Ireland. A box with identity is also in the contaner. So..
Seems like he was bagged, tagged, and de-clawed. After all, Peter with memories intact(knowing he has powers) is pretty unstopabble. But, Peter without memories is in theory not as powerful. Almost managable. Except for those pesky instinctual/reflexive outbursts.
Anyway, turns out that container was going to be hit by some fellas doing a job for a guy named McSorely. Which could lead to the idea that Peter was actually being delivered to McSorley. WHICH, could lead to a post on the speculations page! But...
The preview for next weeks episode, totally killed the coolness of "the box." Turning "The Box," into "The Tagline," makes it all seem so silly! Ugh! Anyone else think this was kinda a lame tagline kinda thing?
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. Was not exactly sure where to put it. I guess, that first preview is kinda part of the episode for me.

I think I was more concerned with how easy it was for the seemingly low level thugs to get the box that holds all of Peter's indentity. I mean, wouldn't that be something you would want to hide, far far away from, oh , I don't know, PETER!?

Yeah, it does seem strange that someone would wipe his memory but leave his wallet. I do think the whole "THE BOX" thing in the commercial was done more tongue-in-cheek though.

I cringed. It did seem very forced and cliche.

The Box, is an interesting concept- though the whole entire commercial basis was rather well... embarrassing and cliche.
Any guesses on what's in the box? My friends and I believe it's Peter's Missing Emo-Fringe. XD

After NBC's little "Someone flies, someone dies" campaign, this is nothing.

its that little fact which leads me to believe it was not the Haitian who did the mind wipe... it doesnt make sense to mind wipe him but leave him a way to get his identity back..
I don't think there was much more than a name on a piece of paper in there with Peter. The mobster is just using the box to keep Peter under control, even though there is nothing in it.
My guess is that Peter will get the box by force after he completes the mobster's gig only to find out it's empty. Then the mobster will say something like, 'do you think I'd really put all your stuff in a box so you could just take it from me?, trying to string Peter along even further.

What is stopping Peter getting his hands on the box by force at this point in time?
Surely he could just knock the guy out and take the box from him? Afterall, he is responsible for tying Peter up and having one of his men beat him! That would end it there and then with no need to complete any kind of job.

From what I remember, the thug stole all of Peter's belongings that had his identity on them and put them together in the box. I want to know why he's so interested in Peter, though. Peter doesn't really have any worth for them at the beginning until he uses his powers...

The key, here, I think, is that Peter (and all of us) need to start thinking outside of the box.
