I'm sure most of it is wishful thinking but just because people have the same power doesn't mean they are related. West can fly, so people assume he's Nathan's long lost son. Well Nathan's mother has a power, we don't know what it is but i can bet it won't be flying. Peter and Nathan are brothers so through the logic that same power means same family shouldn't they have the same power? But they don't.

What about Micah? His parents have super strength and phasing. He has the ability to "talk" to computers. Unless theres gonna be another "Find the real parents" story line this should prove that just because two people have the same power, doesn't mean they have the same bloodline.

It's a overused storyline that i think the writers should move on from. I'm kinda tired of these "I AM YOUR FATHER" storys and would rather find out who the guy who can see Molly is then find out that Nathan had another affair.

I hope west is her brother, because if she ends up dating that freak, then my foot is going through my TV. The only surefire way to prevent romance is for them to find out they are bro/sis, so my fingers are crossed.

Yay, someone with common sense. laugh.gif

But really this line of thinking doesn't just extend to people with similar powers, I mean some people think Angela may be Hiro's mother just because she said she slept with his father awhile back. People are saying Hiro may of pulled a Fry(Futurama) and inadvertanly created himself by sleepng with someone in Fuedal Japan. People are saying Kensei may be Claire's ancestor because he looks to have healing powers.

People, a little common sense goes a long way and while the Heroes show makes people connected it be way too easy and simple just to say "Ok this person and this person are related because they have the same/similiar powers" or "This person is the son of this person because the person said they screwed there father".

Is it possible these people are connected how people are thinking they are, yes but its highly unlikely as its too simple and easy for the writers of the show and I simply think it be beneath them to pull off something so blah and easy.
