When Peter was with the Irish mobsters, there was a mark on one of the Irish Mobster who was trying to betray them and steal the money, and that mark was on peter too, someone please explain it to me

They tattooed it on him after he beat up the traitor, apparently he's one of them now.

It's the mark of their "family".
