The Takezo Kensei: Sword Saint documentary says that the fate of Kensei becomes a mystery after the dragon asks for payment for his lessons. But now that we know the Kensei's power of healing..what could ripping his heart be an allusion to?

Anyone else smell a betrayal between friends over the love of a woman? I think they make such a good pair, but from what we've seen Hiro is very in love with the woman Kensei must marry.

It would be pretty cool to see him rip out his own heart, just for it to grow back again

That was the first thought in my head when he healed, that he would rip his heart out for real, not metaphorically.

check out the sword saint thread in the yamagato fellowship / hiro's blog section of this forum.

This is why I've been saying Hiro is the Dragon. He's teaching him, and is in love with the girl he's trying to make fall in love with Kensai. In the end, I think he'll make Kensai prove his love by ripping out his own heart.

Yeah, I've been thinking this since episode 2 of season 1, i mean it's so obvious.

Ok, great, everyone has raised their hands saying they knew it for so long, but what do you think will happen since we know the legend says that the Kensei surprises the Dragon by ripping out his own heart.

I personally think that Hiro is a mix of Kensei and the Dragon. So Hiro could be the one who becomes heartbroken

Do the friends do battle? Does Hiro just ask him to prove his love for the 'princess'?

I think that Hiro is the Dragon, teaching Kensei how to be a hero, but fails himself and takes the princess for his own, just making Kensei a very angry Lazarus that must wait 335 years to get even with Hiro, starting with his Dad! blink.gif mellow.gif rolleyes.gif wink.gif
