Quote me if I'm wrong, but didn't Zach give Claire a copy of Suresh's book LAST SEASON? I could have swore he gave it to her at school...
I'm wondering why they had West give her a copy again, and she's actually reading it this time... I thought she looked through it last season.. I guess her first copy got burned up in the Ted fiasco at the Bennet house..

I do not ever remember that happening, sorry.

I don't recall West giving her the book. He mentions to her that he found a book that sounded a lot like what she was spouting in class.
Zach did give her the book in Homecoming and she read it that very night before he showed up at her window. And I believe we've seen her reading it a couple of times already this season.

Yes, he did. Zach gave it to her, and she read through the chapter on regeneration, so I'm not sure why she's acting like it's something new.

West was bringing her the book when he saw her cut off her toe... he dropped it in the driveway before he "flew" off...

Ok, yes, Zach gave Claire the book, and yes we saw her reading it, but how do we know that she read the entire chapter on regeneration? Also, how do we know that is what she's reading about now? Maybe she's interested in other abilities that people may have.

Well, It's not like West KNEW she already had a copy. And she definitely didn't have time to say "Uh, hey West, I already have this book. Thanks anyways." She wouldn't say that anyway, because at that point she was still trying to convince West that she's normal; telling West that she already has the book or returning it to him would only raise his suspicions and keep him prying. Not that it matters anymore...

That's totally understandable.. I'm just wondering why the writers did it again... they couldn't think of a different way to get them to where they are now? It was just really close to what happened in the first season, and I thought it was a little odd...

Ted probably burned the first book up, along with their last house.
