Okay My dad and sister wanted me to ask this

1. Would Claire be able to get her ears pierced?

2. Why didn't Peter fight back with the irish ?

Just guessing obviously, but:

1. I don't think so - her body would eject the earring and heal the hole. I guess there's a slight chance that, as long as the earring stayed in it would be ok (like the staple - I think she pulled it out).

2. He was still getting his bearings - 1st time in the crate, he just woke up and kind of did fight back using his powers - he had no idea about them and was knocked out though. Later, he still had no clue about his powers .. when the guy had the box and was threatening to burn it, it seemed like he was struggling internally - he was attracted to Caitlin and didn't understand much of what was going on. He also seems to turn to violence as a 2nd or 3rd option just from his past encounters

Question #1 - Goes right along with Peter getting a tattoo, if the tattoo didn't last, then niether would the piercing. However, she could freely poke new holes anytime she wants to wear a piercing, they would just regrow after she took the piercing out.

Question #2 - Why would he? He seems to be getting along with them, some of them much better than others , so why would he risk alienating the only people he knows by fighting with them? If you mean why he didn't fight back when he was tied up and getting punched last week, it would be because he was tied up and didn't know he could fight back.

1 - yeah she could, but her body would probably push the earings out..

2 - i was under the impression he did ? he opened a medium sized can of whip-a$$ i'd say.

2) I too was saying "take the box from him, Pete" (ep2) until I realized that Peter doesn't even know what powers he has, much less how to access them. All we've seen in the show this season is his powers manifesting as a reflex to his environment. This week's comic seems to indicate that he might be re-figuring it all out though.


As for Claire, well there's a whole can of worms that could be opened. If you think about all of the ways our bodies force out foreign matter, she could be potentially a really gross person to hang out with. I could conjure a host of unpleasant images based on that assumption but I'll leave that to the reader.

1) She could get pierced but the hole seal up in like a second so she have to put the earring in pretty fast or start over. Once the ring is in her body try to force it out however with a strong enough clasp she probably could keep the earring in...if not poor Claire bear have to wear clip ons her entire life lol.

...I wonder has she worn earrings once discovering her power, its something most would probably not notice.

2) He didn't know how to use his powers or that he had any really, even once he did know he had a bunch of powers he still could not access them as shown by him trying to when saying Lightning and what not lol.

I was wondering the same thing about Claire since she had her ears pierced in tonights episode.

The top stud I thought would stay there as long as she left it in. For example when she had the stick/log stuck in her head last season her body didn't "spit" it out.

However she didn't have any earings in her bottom holes. lol

I figure it's just an oversight.

For question #2 he didn't just fight back because he can't control his powers well enough right now to understand them or to control them. He didn't know that the guns wouldn't hurt him until the guy shot him last night, and by that point the leader declared him part of the
family.
Also I figure it's a case of him looking for somewhere to belong.

The log isn't a great example since it was in her head .. and thus killed her. She doesn't heal from head/brain wounds until the foreign object is removed.

It was interesting though - Peter's body expelled the bullet but Kensai's didn't expel the arrow?

She has worn earrings before in season 1. If memory serves me correctly one scene where she wore them was when she was under the bridge talking to the haitian.

Those answers are kinda what my dad and his girlfriend thought, yet my dad thinks this year has been poor writing but I disagree
