Kinda sorta..probably did scene shots of the skyline in Philly, but is actually shooting in LA somewhere making it seem like they are in Philly.
It's still cool though!

If the Kidd Chris show has taught me anything the residents of Philly will throw snowballs at the Nightmare Man.

Okay, I'll admit. New York dropped the ball when we housed Sylar.
But you guys have "The Nightmare Man"
And he has Molly, like, trapped.
So thats worse.
We win .

Hey now... drunken Santa *totally* deserved it.
And yeah, I agree with an earlier poster - it's probably just exterior shots. I didn't hear anything about any scenes being filmed here.

Yeah Philly! Our Phillies bombed out of playoffs, but still got the Eagles going. ...Kind of?
And I really wish they had somehow shot some scenes around here. But yeah, that skyline's about as close as we're gonna get. Doh! I will laugh if they use LA landmarks for locations (ala the red helix in 'NY's" Kirby Plaza). Hope they get some street names right at least.
I thought I saw 622 on the map Molly was using. Have to check the ep again.
And what do you think? Guessing nightmare guy's in North Philly? Looked like a converted factory building, but that could be a number of places, including near University City too.

Definitely should have used newer film of the skyline..although I was pretty happy to see that the show is coming to town, even if it's only in the storyline and not filmed here. Exposure of the city is a good thing. Who knows, I see small film crews about once a week downtown, so maybe they will be coming to the city to film a bit.
As for nightmare-man, well, it would fit in nicely with what we have going on in the city.

It was 611 on the map which would make sense, my wife and I were trying to figure out where the apartment was too. It seemed to me that it was either Universtiy City or South Philly either way the picture of the apartment they used definately was Philly-esque. If it's North Philly the Nightmare Man is more badass than I thought to set up shop there, maybe he'll get gunned down in a drive by b4 Matt and Mo can show up to confront him god knows that happens everyday in that area.
I'm really excited for them to be in Philly even if they just use stock shots but it would have been great to see Matt and Mo at Geno's or Pat's or maybe South Street.

Just for grins I did a Google Maps of (North) Philly where Rte 611 is.

.
If anybody can get a screen capture of the map that Molly used, we can probably compare and see exactly where in Philly the Nightmare Man is staying. My guess is also somewhere in North Philly.
