Ok this was probably said 946910129354127 times but I'll say it anyway just incase tongue.gif Any coincidence that the car that Maya, Alajandro and Derek was the same model as Claire's? Claire lost her car, Derek had a new one but he went to jail (probably for stealing it) and is now riding in it. Maya was talking about how it said California on the back, well isn't that where Claire now lives?

I thought it was a neat coincidence happy.gif

Yeah, it's the same model and color as Claire's car. Whether it was her's or not was speculated earlier, but episode 4 confirmed it. Isn't it some sweet irony that the man who wants her power so badly is the one with her car now, not knowing about it? I think Claire and West will face Sylar within not too many episodes.
Troy
I think we knew this as fact since Episode 3.
kitty
fo sho this is Claires car

How happy do you think Sylar will be when he checks the glovebox and see's the registration in Bennet's name? And most likely the address right along side it. I think Sylar, ahem, I mean Gabriel, will be making a side trip to Costa Verde on his way to NYC. smile.gif

They changed their name. I bet the name Bennet is not on the registration.

Thats a good point, the car is obviously stolen as Derek was obviously hiding the origin of the car.

And Sylar finding documents regarding Claire in the glovebox seems credible and conveniant storyline-wise, I mean good reason to use the same car. I mean Claire is likely to have some form of identification and may easily have left it in the car...

there was a GN that came out yesterday, im not sure if its up anymore, but it confirmed that it was claires car.
miss9thwonder

I havent done it but i read on the heroes wiki that there was a second comic that came out last week called 'The Rogue' and in it the guy is getting hazed into a fraternity and he has to go on a scavenger hunt and he steals the car (which claire left unlocked and with her keys) to travel around the town collecting items which he then has to take to Mexico.

Apparently to get it you have to sign up here: http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/roguenovel/

Just read it ... it's interesting - kinda scary how stupid claire was about the car, but i guess they had to make it horrible to avoid making the rogue look easy to steal

It's part 1 of 2 .. I wonder when the 2nd part comes out and if it's subscription only?

I got it and personally i thought it was better than the GN they put out this week. The only thing i don't know is how do you get a stolen car into Mexico?
Trihan
It probably wasn't reported stolen at the time.
Demonight
don't think Claire or Noah would have reported it stolen as it would have attracted attention from law enforcement (which probably has links to the company)

Yea i also thought of this right after the car got stolen. I guess what i was thinking is more how the border guards wouldn't notice that the registration and insureance were under a new name. Actually now that i think about it i don't think they would check stuff like that at the border, only their ID's. Not to mention they would have been dealing with the Mexican side of the border, which i am just assuming, doesn't stop to many Americans from coming into their country and spending money.

I guess it probably wouldn't be too hard to get their then.

Getting out of the country is easy. Getting in is hard.

actually, all you need to do to get into Mexico is pay the toll and cross

at the Mexican customs, if you have anything to declare, you just stop and declare it, they usually just check and since objects to declare tend to be medicine, foodstuff, etc, they usually don't make a big fuzz

the problem is that there are random searches, but although those are somewhat often, there's always enough cars crossing so as to lower the chances of getting one

yup, I live in a border town

I've never been stopped or even looked at twice when entering Mexico. Now, coming back into the US, that is quite different!
Imthehero
if you want to get back into the US from anywhere, you're gonna have to touch your toes and make sure not to clench your cheeks.

I just do not get why people are making such a fuss about it. Of course it is her car.
