I'm rewatching Four Months Later right now, and I just noticed a bit of a discontinuity. (If someone already brought this up, sorry, I did a search and didn't see anything similar.)
Claire "started" 11th grade. First of all, she must've already been in 11th grade back in Texas because the school year hasn't actually changed in four months. But that's not my problem.
When HRG goes to Paper World or whatever, the manager says he's been working there for a few months. That could mean they've been there for the whole four months or just one or two, but that's means the BennettButlers had to have been there for a while. Why did Claire just go back to school now? Obviously for the whole starting off the new season with a new school, but in the show it doesn't make much sense.
Maybe she just ditched.
the "Butler's" went to Costa Verde to
hide. If anyone was looking for them, wouldn't they just checked for newly enroled students? They wouldn't care about Bennet as much as they would Claire. When she asked what would happen if someone found out about her, he responded that they'd have to move and go into hiding, forget about school all together. He isn't taking his chances. Since it was Lyle's first day as well, I figure they kids didn't go back to school for a few months after they moved ( 3 or 4).
Plus, there was no way Claire was going back to school right away. She had kind of been through a bit of trauma and all. After her run in with Sylar, then Ted, and having to leave her family and go off with some strange Haitian man after he shot her father, I mean that would stress anyone out. And that was with out losing Peter, and having Nathan become an alcoholic. If all of THAT can't get you out of school for a little while, then nothing will.
And anyway, homecomings are usually in september/october. She probably left school while it was still the first quarter. Shes started this new one way into second semester, so it works out.
