My initial thoughts from her first scene with Enterprise's Lt. Reed:

• The HR department at the Company has a fetish for young bad girls
• Kristen Bell makes her worth watching
• Gratuitous showing off of electricity is corny and comic bookish... ESPECIALLY when done in public on an open dock

Yeah, I'm curious to see who her father is. I guess it could be Bob since he is the head of the company who she works for.

I'm thinking her Dad is Bennet. Imo, That'd be pretty cool...Bennet may have a power afterall. =O

I think shes Bob's daughter.

She's awesome and I would hardly consider what she did gratuitous, even if it was, I doubt she's the type that would care.

The whole conversation and lil fit she had in the car was funny in a twisted way.

She has some great potential, and Kristen Bell is a great actress.

i think i may have read this as a spoiler or it was like some sort of therory but i'll add the spoiler caps for good measure that elle was taken from her family at a young age and lived with her power for pretty much all her life, and that she just call's one of the company's people as dad because they practically rased her

If only she didn't have to kill Ricky to make a sweet entrance.

Seems pretty cool so far. Poor Ricky, though. I look forward to seeing more of the character. She's more of a playful evil.

As to who her dad is, I would guess Bob, but it might be someone else.

Loved Elle. Loved her! Kristen Bell did not disappoint.

Yeah.. Im sure they must have done this with more than one baby stolen from their crib. This is what I was assuming she meant by 'Dad' as well.

That, or my other thought was maybe Papa Petrelli is alive and well, has a top seat in the co. .. and Petey and Nate-Dog have a long lost sis.. but that seems too far fetched.

I don't think HRG is her dad..don't forget, HRG is trying to take down the company. Elle, for all we know is still very much the Company gal. Her dad could be Bob, he could be someone else. Her character seems to come across as a spoiled brat though.

I hope that Sylar kills her off, as well.

I'm intrigued with the character, she has potential. I was just starting to like Ricky though

Agreed... emphatically. Hell, even if he's NOT better, as long as it ends with her death, I'll be right as rain.

Although Peter or Caitlin would probably be more fitting as her executioner. Peter was kind of adopted into their family and all.

Sylar won't be killing this character, they don't bring in a hot shot acctress to kill off right away. I'm thinking Papa Petrelli isn't as dead as we thought he was.

I think its safe to say Sylar won't be getting his hands on her brain, at least not any time soon. He can't kill all the attractive female characters with a more aggressive attitude. Then again Candice didn't turn out to have the ballsy attitude she walked around with in season one after she got a look at those sybrows. Haha jk. But seriously, hes pretty busy with Alejandro and Maya at the moment. Some sort of fight between Niki and her seems like it would be interesting. Blonde on blonde

Yeah..she seems like a spoiled brat at the moment. And she doesn't care who she hurts either. If she really wanted help in finding Peter all she had to do was say: "I'm looking for my boyfriend. We were engaged and he just disappeared. I'm really worried. See, I just found out I'm pregnant too. I just need to make sure he's alright.." If she's hunkydory about killing somebody, she should be great at lying! And she's cute. Of course the guys would love to help her if they thought she was in trouble, and not some Blonde the Bounty Hunter!(aka Sparky )

I thought...hmm...up until she killed Ricky. It didn't seem to serve any purpose. She could have gotten the information out of the guy without killing him.

Then all I could think was...where is Sylar to rip open someone's head when you need him?

I'm sure she is a wonderful actress...and normally I say give characters a chance...

But she kills Ricky for no reason. She could have gotten that information in another less lethal way. I agree with someone else who says she is spoiled. I don't care for her much.

I hope Sylar gets his hands on her soon.

Ok, I need help. Why do some of you in this thread and others think that Noah Bennet could possibly be her dad? Why would Noah be using a homicidal Company gal to hunt down Peter and then call her away suddenly? Why would Noah have a secret daughter with electric powers? How would Noah have raised a daughter that thinks nothing of cold-blooded murder? It makes no sense to me, please enlighten.

And her hand was pretty close to it, its not like she was running around screaming shooting lightning in the air...

Her power is cool. Her demeanor is cool. And I think that Bob could be her father. Doesn't gold conduct electricity really well?

Okay, i'm gonna take a REALLYYYYYYY long shot here, but maybe she was hired by Nathan, or someone close to him? I'm not saying that he is her father, but he is clearly missing peter, so maybe he got in touch with someone to help track peter down, so Elles' dad could be a close friend to Nathan?

I'm not getting something. If the company put him in the shipping container and handcuffed him and whiped his mind and the first power he showed when he was found was electricity, then it seems that Elle and Peter have been in close proximity sense his capture. Why let him near anyone with powers when they locked him up?

I may have misunderstood the scene, but I think she did torture Ricky for information, got what she needed, and then killed him for the sheer thrill of it... I need to rewatch, but you're exactly right. There was no reason behind it, no gain. In fact, she lost her objective because she killed him. She's a spoiled, sloppy brat who has no business in the field.

I like the character of Elle and Kristen Bell's portrayal of her just as much as I like Sylar and Zachary Quinto's protrayl of him. I only hope that they do with her character what they did with his. They should make her a regular for the rest of the season and then bring her back next season.

They've killed off hotter girls than her.

She seems like a Candice type of character, only more ... unconscionably i think.

Exactly! Normally I give character's time to grow some before I judge but I do not like her.

She got tossed off the mission as soon as she killed someone. Obviously, whoever sent her wants Peter alive and well, and can't risk her trying to bring him in as we've seen how impuslive and reckless she is. "Dad" knows where Peter is now. That's all the info he needs. Calls "daughter" back home for a spanking.

nah, they just see that with young, pretty girls, they can get the information they want. Young pretty girls are a weakness. I mean, come on, would you send out a fat ugly guy to go do something a young pretty girl can get done in a minute?
By making them powerful, they can easily kill/hurt if their looks don't give them what they want.

I think Elle and Sylar will make an alliance. In TV guide a couple weeks back, Kristen said that her and Zach knew each other for a while, and it was good to be working with him


I think her excuse is that, just like they were trying to do with Molly, she was raised by the company.

I dont think she tortured him. I think she just killed him. She's crazy so there doesn't have to be any gain behind it. Though it did get Peter out of hiding so there is that. Honestly her killing him with no remorse just kick all kinds of butt for me.




I do know that she was raised like an animal so the fact that she has no qualms about killing people is not surprising.
