I'm curious, does anyone think her power has to do with electromagnetism as opposed to just electricity? I tend to think it's just electricity.

I think elle was the one that put peter where he was found and I think she didnt expect him to befriend people and escape. Think about it when peter was found he had the lighting ability it was actually the first power he used...where did he get it from he had to have come in contact with her...he never had the lighting ability before. She somehow was assigned to peter from day one and now she has lost him thats why shes looking for him. She left the box the box might have been hers that had her research on peter in it.

Well, the power that Peter uses is NOT the power that Kristin Bell uses. The colors ain't even the same! The power he has coming from his hands is TED'S power, under control! Remember Ted could do alot more than go nuclear. He hadn't learned to control it. HRG helped him set off an EM pulse when they were being held by the company. Thats what the balls of energy are coming from Peter. I wish people would stop and think more logically...gosh! (not you, just a rant) and I want to know about the crate too.

I cant beleive no one picked that up...I think the company hid peter overthere so his family can think he's dead they kinda wanted to take peter for themselves and make him into something for there advantage...but of course we know peter will escape canada is as close to america as you can get.

The online novel being refered to was set in the future i believe it was Chap. 32

First off, they were the same color. They were both blue. And, I highly doubt that it was Ted's power Peter used. Think about it. Ted's power is giving off radiation. But, when he did the EMP, he had to focus to do it. Peter was not focusing at all when he was in the crate. It was an automatic reaction to his situation. I doubt he would've focused and struck back with an EMP. If anything, he probably would've used TK.

We also need to remember that the writers chose to have Peter use that particular ability in that situation. Remember, it could've easily been TK, but it wasn't. I think the writers purposefully chose lightning in that situation to hint at who put and why Peter was in that crate.

im thinking that peter fell somewhere and bob found him all of the company member were in ne wyork at the time of the explosion. Bob probably assigned elle to peter she probably took him and cared for him peter reginerated so he was okay and I really dont think he exploded into pieces. It seems like each company member was assigned to someone remember candace was assigned to sylar so im guessing elle had peter she probably locked him in there not thinking the irishman would find him and befriend him the box is hers aswell or maybe she left him there to be found with his box he definately came in contact with her it looks like she screwed up the assignment so shes going back to bob...im pretty certain he is her father tooo atleas tI hope I hope noah doesnt have something on the side. lol

Anyone else find it interesting that the ability Peter used to feel most comfortable with, the one he used whenever he was in trouble as his "first nature" - the invisibility - he hasn't used once yet? I mean he's gotta be using the powers subconsciously, I would think he would be using the the one he felt most comfortable with..

Well, except for when he was in Isaac's loft, he always used it to escape. however, he hasn't had a reason to do that yet. He's faced challenges head on instead of trying to run or hide.

also... in the video commentary of the "Four Months Later", Tim Kring and Co say that the electric power he used against the irishman in the container was a NEW power. That means it ISNT teds. sorry.

I'm convinced that Peter has been visited by a mind-wiper, a memory-puller, a "the Haitian" type of Hero. One with such a power could make Peter forget about a power... I think this is what happened.

I always wondered if Claire or Peters memory would "grow" back after a visit from the Haitian.

Yes, plus in this episode the Irish girl comments on him emitting electricity.

Please people, don't start the debate again about his powers not being electric. It has been clearly shown from what is mentioned above.


They should come back probably. After all I doubt Peter will never get his memory back, if he doesn't get it back via Regeneration he will have to get it back another way.
