It really is refreshing to see them work together. Like they said in real life...they are natural funny people. So I guess that what makes their scenes sucessful, they get along and bounce offa each other perfectly!
Who loved them in this episode and prior ones?

I really like them teaming up. Yeah their characters did play off each other pretty well. It was like the awesome team of awesomeness. Just think...if it's this cool with two characters imagine if there was a whole team of characters teaming up together to fight some bad guy.

I'm loving the hot Grunny on Pasdar action!
I loved them in Pasdar's video he made called "Grunny Goes Wild,"
They're just an awesome pair.
They're the dynamic duo, and I mean that in the least "omg, lets ship them and make them gay like Sylar and Mohinder!" way

There's a lot of new partnerships developing, West and Claire, Mohinder and Matt, Mohinder and Bob, Caitlin and Peter, Micah and Copy Cat, but so far this new relationship of Matt and Nathan is the most exciting and interesting one yet.

Nathan and Matt are great in scenes together...Matt is more blustery, and Nathan has that smooth suave thing going on with a subtle humor...I hope to see lots more scenes with them both

Love the partnership. Especially since this last episode. Lots of great quotes.
(Matt whining about how he has been wanting to tell his Dad off for your years, but can't even knock on the door.)
(Nathan knocks on the door)
Nathan: You're welcome.
Classic! Loved it!

Call me a fan of this partnership...and not in a "shippy" sort of sense either. They kind of remind me of a crime fighting duo from a cop show in a way. I just got done watching the commentaries, and Grunny had nothing but good things to say about working with Adrian Pasdar in these scenes.

lol I was just thinking as I opened this thread....."If this is about Matt & Nathan shipping, I will SCREAM!"
I think they do have some good chemistry on screen and I've always found them to be two of the most "real" and down to earth characters on the show. I'm all for Nathan & Matt's murder mystery solving partnership!

I loved them together! Matt and Nathan play off each other so well- those two quotes you guys have mentioned had me in stitches! Pasdar's delivery is so dry, I love it!
What did Grunny say about Adrian? [I don't live in the states, I can't see the commentary]

Yah saw that too but it made sense, Mind abilities and their confuse powers. Excellent control.
Also both of them performed the scene so well it not only wasn't cheese, it and their scene with Matt's dad before hand was pure gold!
Also Lady Heather where can I get that pick of Mohinder you have as your Avatar? I'm doing sketches of the cast and that's the one of the best reference photos Ive seen of him Evar. Not that there's a shortage of good Moh pics, but that one looks real nice... albeit a tad tiny for my needs.

Loved their scenes this episode and the last episode... I liked the Nightmare scene best of all. It was a bit predictable that they'd end up fighting each other, but I find that the way they edited was really well done because they don't really show them fighting each other until towards the end of it.
That was seriously the best fight scene on Heroes so far... so much better than the Peter vs. Sylar fights.

i think its pretty much down to nathan being one of the better actors (imho) in heroes, he worked really well with hiro & now matt, i'm even warming to the cheesfest of a line "so we could save the world" in htsaem.
i really like how he kept telling parkman to "get your gun out" heheh..
i do think they flew to philly, there was only 1 scene between their talk & then they were at the door...glad they didnt show the flying if indeed they did, not overly impressed with the flying this season, which is weird cuz last seasons i thought was pretty good..maybe we're being spoiled ?

Last season there was a campaign ad for Nathan online (might still be around somewhere) and it said he served in the military in Bosnia. He probably got his weapons training from there. But I always wanted to know where Jessica got her weapons training from.

Yup! I see what you mean. Their team-up is the best and most unexpected one in the show so far. They're also complete opposites. Matt's the silly, kinda dumb and emotional cop. You know, the sort of guy that no one takes seriously. While Nathan's the cool, serious and composed kind of guy. The type of guy you look up to and the type who could be President. So they're the perfect blend. I'm glad the writers thought of pairing them up.

I think Nathan was pushing to have Matt draw his gun because Nathan is the one killing the 12. He might have been hoping Matt would shoot Maury. Then he planted the photo of Bob to make it seem like Maury was the killer.

I'm a huge slasher. I love slashy things. But I know when two people aren't even funny to slash, or cute. Nathan and Parkman are just that pair.
Their partnership is perfect enough as it is already. I'm not as discontent with it that I have to write a fan fic about it.
