Total bada** HRG! Can't believe he just shot the guy! Wow. And he had that totally evil look in his eyes. I would have confirmed that the paintings were where he said they would be, and then maybe kill him. I guess he's been around long enough though to know how the company works, and killing the guy was the most logical choice for his protection. The Haitian is very obedient too, is he not? If he can pinpoint specific memories, why couldn't he find the one about the paintings? I'm not sure if he can "see" them or not...
DannyP
It's never been suggested (or rather, confirmed) that the Haitian has full perception of the memories he takes.
HeroHunter
He certainly is bada$$.
fjimenez1
Agreed! It was good to see HRG flexing a little muscle.
Ingtar
Yet when Ivan said that he was sentencing himself to Hell, the look in his eyes seemed to mirror the hopelessness he felt as he pulled the trigger and said, "I know."
Dr. Chaos
HRG is weak sauce.

If he was for real, he would have slit his Grandson's throat in front of him and then ritualistically fed him his own body parts while manically laughing WHILE the Haitian takes away everything he ever loved.

...Then cap that ****** with the gun twisted sideways.
DoctorClaude
The Haitian obviously has some sort of variation in how he sees the memories, because he can pick them like worms from the mind, as he drew in a picture.

But I'm so glad to see HRG going "morally gray" on us again. It's been a too long.
Dr. Chaos
In all seriousness, this is exactly why I love this character.

Just when you think he's going to have a crisis of conscious, he shoots it in the face.

He's full of surprises.

I keep waiting for them to show us that he has an ability.
prander
I'm glad he's still the same b*d*ss he was before and he's still willing to "go the distance" to protect himself and his family... and that "Clairebear" didn't soften him up too much. laugh.gif

Oh, but they have already shown us his ability. He posesses the ability to be a BAMF at will.
IGotSuperPowers
Noah still pwns. laugh.gif
Lady Heather
I love his character, but I hope he doesn't get too zealous. He will be a bad guy again.
boonskank
can we say, "Threatening to take away the memory of Ivan's dead daughter"?

I think morally gray got cranked up a notch.

good ol' HRG. biggrin.gif

he wont. and if he does... ill quit watching the show. nuff said.
LouisWu
Ah yeah, we got a lil taste of HRG the BAMF when he twisted the managers finger, but I feel that all is right in the world now that the real HRG is back. Noah, Noah my foot thats MR. Bennet to you fool!

Truer words were never spoken. I take heart in the fact that as other characters (who will remain nameless) become lamer, Noah just gets more & more awesome.

kinda funny.. but.. if anyone has seen the movie Shoot Em Up, haha.. HRG just reminded me of the scene where Paul Giamatti is about to shoot someone, and then he picks up his ringing cellphone and says "not now sweetie, Im a little Busy"
pngaou
OH MAN, there was just too much awesome in that scene. When that guy from the company offered him a position back, I got seriously worried.

How could I doubt you Noah!? I should have known that you would be the BAMF that you are.
Chrusiel
I know theres a lot of praise for the BAMF stuff yeah, but uh, does anyone here think that HRG is just getting darker.. a bit too protective of claire telling Mohinder that he has to go through with injecting Monica ... on the other hand, the conversation Bob has with Mohinder about keeping them in line, apologising for making him inject Monica... helping Monica for that matter... or at least appearing to.

Niki/Jessica still seems to be in a controlled state... she sounds almost like a fanatic spokesperson for 'the company'... so she's not quite right yet.

I don't get the whole mind wipe thing... why didn't he do that... pretty mediocre excuse to kill a man I thought

Maybe Claire kills Noah? Oh I don't know... I just thought there might be more to Noah then the first volume has let on..
Revengeance
The only thing that bugged me about Noah this episode was his corny responses to Ivan after he kayoed and killed him, the Haitian would've been wondering who the heck he was talking to...
Rabbit
I love how they've turned HRG around. He was becoming completely uninteresting after his brutal and mysterious persona in season 1.

HRG is definitely back. Now he is back to old himself. That means his story will continue, and he won't die soon. I hope he lives for the sake of the series. He is the best thing for Heroes right now. His story is worth watching. His episode was the best episode so far. Do I need to say more? smile.gif
