Full Version: It almost seems...

It almost seems that Maya's power is a sort of disease that attacks those within a certain area. Obviously Alejandro is the cure to this attack. It could be that Maya has developed a type of Shanti virus as a power and Alejandro has developed a type of Mohinder/anti-body cure as a power. Obviously Maya's power will play an important part as the plot of Vol. 2 goes forward but I wonder if this is chance, metaphor or deliberate connection.

So ... if Sylar somehow does get Alejandro's power (as most people seem to think) he'll be the cure to the virus? ohmy.gif

Indeed. Maya will be simultaneously his 'Advance to GO: Collect $200' card and 'Get out of jail free' card. He can use Maya as a threat/weapon to get what he wants and they can't take him out because he is also the cure.

And since he would be the only one who could cure her...she would have to stay with him...

Interesting. I actually like the Shanti/Mohinder analogy, but that would also mean she is a different sort of strain because it affects normal people too and not just Heroes.
