Bob is a character that, ever since his first introduction, has been turnig my emotions towards him into a seesaw. I'm back and forth with it. This episode, for example; I had just made up my mind once and for all that, even with his flaws, I liked him. Then he had to go give Mohinder the gun.

So...for the love of anything..what the heck is Bob's agenda? Does he really care about anyone other then himself?

I really think Bob's one of the good guys. I mean, if Adam sent Maury to kill him, he must be on the other side.

Bob is like the rest of the Company..morally grey...still not sure what to make of him. Although he did say that Linderman was a disciple of Adam Munroe's..hmmm.

I agree, I think Bob is one of the good guys. He is everything the company is about, "Morally Grey". That's why we love it so.

I have to admit, the biggest shocker of tonight's episode was Mohinder telling Bob he had been working with Bennet. That made me gasp and cry NO!

Bob is one of my favorite characters now. The way he always goes back and forth like that? And the acting? Stephen Tobolowsky FTW.

Thats one thing I have to say..his acting...christ...really brilliant.

I mean..I want to trust him. I want to like him. But it can be so hard..just when I'm about to he just..he gives on of those looks.

He is very HRG like at the start of season 1.

I keep switching with each episode between hating him and liking him. He seems like a nice guy, and really, as far as we know he hasn't done anything that screams evil. But then he's with the company, and in the past that's never been good... unless you count HRG... augh...
It makes him an interesting character though, and I really can't wait to see which side he's on. happy.gif

I'm liking Bob. He makes for a really good morally gray character. He comes across as a generally good guy at times, but you just wonder about him.
FishFairy
eh...bob's ok, but HRG's better. If mohinder kills him... sliced.gif

It's the great thing about the character. You like and hate him at the same time.

It is hard to see just what Bob's ultimate agenda in all this is. We haven't seen him do anything really evil yet, and he sometimes seems to come across as a nice, reasonable guy, but since he's with the Company and has been for 30 years(and we know a bit about the sort of things they've been doing in that time), I think he's most likely a villain.
Medemia
He is brilliantly written and acted, but every time I see him, I want to buy a bunch of insurance from him or punch him in the nose and say, Ned? Ned Rhierson?

I don't know if he's manipulating everything and working with Adam still or what, but his character has me all in knots too.

The way I look at it, is if I could turn a spoon into gold, then I really don't need to waste my time hanging around a bunch of people who could kill me unless I cared about something. I mean, buy an island, buy a massive amount of security, live the life, you know.

Why hang around and risk death? To me that means he cares and is trying to do the right thing, and/or trying to make up for the mistakes of his past, namely, in funding the harmful projects of Linderman and friends.

We know that Maury wants him dead because he used Bob to kill DL in Niki's nightmare, and that Maury isn't exactly a good guy.
