Does anyone else feel that after seeing Matt's Nightmare about his ex-wife and her child, feel he was looking to Molly as a replacement for the child. Maybe he needs something to live for.

It may very well be Matt seeking redemption. He accused Maury of leaving him and his mother and never looking back. But what has Matt done? The exact same thing. Like father like son. But Matt has attached himself to Molly and is trying his best to be a good father to her. He is her hero. And if his wife's son is not his own but the offspring of the cheating, then you can hardly blame the guy for not being overly caring about it. I just love how they keep making him be Molly's hero. That really makes their story awesome!

We don't know why Matt and his family seperated yet, so we really cannot say like father like son. Besides, isn't the baby not his, anyway? Maybe the next episode will explain why Matt is now single..

A few episodes ago.. (dont' remember which exactly) when Matt and Nathan were looking for the photograph of the 'founders' Matt did tell nathan that he was married and got divorced when he found out the baby wasn't his...

The kid Janice has wasn't his in the first place.

I don't see how any husband could stay with a wife that has not only cheated on you, but is now pregnant with the persons baby that she cheated on you with.

Like father, like son? I don't buy it. It was Matt's nightmare to become like his father, and this fear has made him the man he is now. We are going to find out exactly what happened in Four Months Ago and we'll se ethat Matt is becoming a much better person and a great father for Molly.

I sincerely think that he did nothing wrong by Janice, and she is responsible for raising that child. Although that might be sad or difficult for her, you reap what you sow. Could Matt forgive her and raise that child as his own? He could, but put yourself in his shoes, would you? I've thought about it, and that is a heart wrenching thing to decide. Whichever choice a person would make, I don't think it's the wrong choice.

Exactly.

Parkman has nothing to feel guilty about since his wife's child isn't his.
