Am I the only one who did a double-take when I found out Nick D'Agosto was older than David Anders?

I knew that already.. I think its weird and just contributes to the fact that West is creepy

...

Mr. Anders should learn to take better care of himself then... I've always thought he looks at least 30ish... like 35 or something... lol... But then again that may just be the magic of makeup working on West and Adam...

I agree that it does make West creepier..
I think Anders looks his age, maybe slightly older *coughSMOKERcough* but you also have to remember most the time we say him he was sweaty.. and dirty... which makes him look older, perhaps now that he's in the present he will look more his age.. It could all be with the makeup though.. I mean... now his character is like... over 300 years old. Gotta have a little wear on him.
Once again adding that it's really creepy that West is 27.. but he does look and sound like a teenager, and that's all that matters.

Nicholas D'Agosto, may be 27, but he doesn't look a day over 18.

I had the same reaction when I found this out.
There was an interview a few months back when they addressed the fact that he's 27 and he's still playing a high school student.

how old is Anders anyway?

He was born on March 11, 1981 according to wiki. ..So... that makes him 26.

its not a great age difference.
srsly? he doesn't look it.
he looks older imo.

I knew D'Agosto was 27, but his baby face makes him look exactly the age he's portraying. It's almost a gift and a curse, gift because he can get away with playing parts 10 years his junior, but a curse because it might be hard for him to get older parts. Then again, that's what they have make-up and airbrushing for...
Though I did not know Anders was older. He does look a lot older, even in out-of-character photos.

I second this opinion. I'm not sure if Claire looked horrified because he showed up and she may have thought her dad was home and would have seen him, or if she looked horrified because he came over without asking to first.

Haha ... exactly.
I also thought that David Anders was about 30. I guess not. He also looks like the guy on that show Journeyman. In fact when I first saw the previews for it when heroes season 2 started, I thought it was the same guy.

wow. unbelievable. its amazing how some actors are able to portray characters WAY younger than their actual age.
and wiki says nick is related to Owen and Luke Wilson (citation needed). if true, that would be even more wackier.

I read he was from Portland.

Yeah, he's from Oregon in fact.
And I knew Nicholas D'Agosto was 27, but I had NO clue David Anders was only 26... is that correct? Really? He looks like in his mid thirties!

Personally, I found it strange that Masi Oka was older than Milo V. and Zachary Quinto.

I'm not one who cares for West at all, but I did happen upon an interview of with Nick on the TV Guide channel the other day, and I do like his attitude...he was a very good sport with the questions they were asking him. I wish I had a copy of the interview because he made some pretty good heroes related jokes. He also tried to confirm that West does have a different flight power than Nathan, but I still don't believe it. It's the same power, just used differently.
I didn't realize how old he was though either! No way would I have thought he was even close to my age!

BUt yeah, I knew Nicholas D'Agosto was in his 20's, but WoW! 27? It does add to the creepy persona of the West character, lol

Wow. You know, I didn't realize that until I read this thread. And then I looked it up on Google just to double and triple check! Nick does appear far younger than his (nearly) 28 years. And I agree that David needs to start taking better care of himself; I guessed him to be far older than he is. He's only slightly older than me, and I still get carded going to the movies! ...Maybe David should borrow my moisturizer?

David has always looked way older then he really is. I remember when I first saw him on Alias and went to google him and was shocked to see how young he was. Also that he was American and not British. LOL I really do wish he would get more roles, he is such a wonderful actor. To play Sark on Alias at a young age, he did it so well.

I'm surprised he hasn't gotten frustrated with all the fake-British-accent roles.

And you know, I'd forgotten how
GOOD he played Adam until recently, when I re-watched Powerless off the Zune Marketplace.
