Did anyone notice how Bod stared at Nana as she walked out of the house? He looked at her as if he knew who she was..HMMM

Yep! I was going to do a topic but just didn't feel like it. It was a look of acknowledgement not just the generic "hello, sorry for your loss". I have to go back and watch it but it seemed like Monica even had a look like "who is this guy looking at my grandmother like that?".

I don't remember the grandmother actually looking over at Bob. My first thought was that he was looking at Monica. But then again, the previous eps in Season 2 were 4 months into the future and that whole scene of her kicking that dudes arse at the burger joint hadn't happened yet...hmmm

I think they know each other for sure, and was a bit surprised that they didn't say anything to each other.

Nana would be DL's mother. MOST of the current generation of heroes have come from one of the older generation. Claire and Michah being 'at least' third generation. It would not suprise me if Nana had 'power' too, as well as Mama Petrelli.

and I am assuming since Monika is Michah's cousin that one of her parents was a sibling to DL. If DL, Micah, and Monica all have powers, than I am assuming Nana had them as well or the father did, and knew Bob through him.

I just replayed the scene and Bob was step passed Nana when he turned to look at Monica. Monica turns to look at Bob with a reaction of 'why is he looking at me?'. Nana did look up but I think she was looking to see where she was going.

I didn't notice this, all I noticed was the Bob and Monica connection.

I am sure that Bob has been monitoring Monica, waiting for her to manifest. If the files on DL and Niki that Linderman kept are any indication, the file that Bob gives Mohinder several months later was probably started long before.

I assumed nana was one of the women in the photo of the first 12. The "here comes a new hero" music that they played when she first opens the door to Micah and Niki kinda gave away the fact that she was a piece of the puzzle.

DL's mother was in the first season, and definately wasn't Nana. I think DL's relationship to Nana was given but I don't remember it. It might have been aunt or something.

I think that it seemed as if Bob could sense the power of Monica. I noticed it somewhere else in the episode, but I cannot remember where.

I think that D.L. and Monica are cousins, and Monica and Micah second cousins. Nana is D.L. and Monica's grandmother.

That is what seems to make the most sense to me.

That comment about sensing powers is interesting - someone who can transmute metal to gold (and we don't know if that is his only skill, or if he can transmute anything into anything else) - would probably have to have a "feel" for the things he was changing - so it is conceivable that part of his power is understanding the elements around him, and might extend to being able to sense powers. Micah can apparently "feel" people like he "feels" machines, and Sylar can sense some powers especially when they are being used.
It might be a combination of him knowing Nana through her DL connection and an ability to sense powers.

Sorry to be blunt, but this topic is stupid. From what I can tell, Nana didn't even look at Bob. Bob was looking at Monica and Monica had a moment of '..OK?' That was it.

Then again, I could be wrong and then I'll be the stupid one. But I would love it if someone would officially debunk this misunderstood 2 seconds.
