Look I'm a total drooling mess over Zach Quinto and all things Sylar...

...but the most important relationship, that grounds the show, that gives it heart and warmth, despite his moral ambiguities and her teen-aged her angst, is Claire and her Father. It grounds the and gives it a solidity ito hold the Fantastic elements. Jack Coleman's performance single handedly brings the REAL.

I will be really disappointed in Mr. K if he kills off HRG because he can't think what to do with him. SMALLVIlLE suffered when they killed off the father and excised the mother from the show.

Unless TKring has grown a set, I don't think HRG will be killed off yet. His character is way too important to the storyline and if he wants to be rid of a main character, Sylar is a better choice now that he has lost his power, but he is still around. So says I.

You're right, HRG seems integral to the on going stories. But a Spoiler I read elsewhere has me deeply disturbed and upset. It would really fracture the reality in the show they've all worked so hard to construct.

They don't kill of charachters at a whim. There's usually a reason, often it has to do with contracts of the actors or problems therein.

With ZQ's rising stardom there's no way their killing off Sylar. Sorry.

I truly dont think that HRG will get killed off simply because we have known about it happening for so long, it just wouldnt be a surprise.. He might get shot, but because all of the talk about Claire's blood possibly helping Niki and Kensei's blood curing Nathan, Claire will heal him... any thoughts?

The below link goes to a very distressing image of Claire holding a Funeral Urn the rest of the family is in the background. Guess who's missing.

Being the Mr. Bennet we all know and love wouldn't it be totally possible that he faked his death to protect his family? In my view he and Mohinder are integral the show because they are the link to the viewers, i.e. they are "normal". However what a suprise it would be if it were true.

I hope you're right and its just a fake...but I thought that with DL. But then HRG is more important a charachter. I certainly hope it isn't Mohinder either--I can't say whom I'd freak out over more!

I saw on the IMDB boards that some people think that it may be Bob in the painting so if anyone has a screenshot to clear that idea up then we may not be seeing the end of Noah and he may have faked his own death (clutching at straws, I know).

At first I thought his death was inevitable. Now I think he'll be shot and he'll die, but he'll be healed. They've build up these tensions about the painting, if he dies, where is the surprise?

I'm glad you were right, I was about to send my friend "V" (for Vendetta) to "30 Rock".

The painting was right. He did in fact die, but now he is to be saved by Claire's blood.

The funeral still takes place so what is Noah's future?

Will he now regenerate just as Claire from now on?

What is the future of the remaining Bennets?

Can't wait for the answers!

Same here!...I'm glad that I'm right! laugh.gif

I couldn't watch Heroes without HRG. In a interview, when he was asked about HRG's future, Jack Coleman answered that few people has guessed correctly about what would happen to him. I'm reading many posts in many boards, I can say that many people has guessed it correctly because they didn't want him to die.

I think the company healed him for a very specific reason. What that is, I'm not sure yet, but you can bet that they have a plan for him, or else they'd just let him be dead.

Well, he´s a great asset. He knows more about the powers of the heroes than them, he knows how to fight, manipulate and controll them. His mentor wanted him back in the company again and so does Bob i think.

Yeah, I can't wait to see what happens with HRG. I think he did a wonderful job in the last episode, and I was really glad to see he was still alive.
Rebel
Do you guys think the Company is going to keep Noah away from Claire and the rest of his family? How would they keep them apart?

I think the company will try to keep him away.
I'd like to see him somehow let his family know he is still alive.

Maybe the Haitian will do a brain wipe (hope not).
theX
IMO i think that they, being the company, needed HRG to be healed/alive so they could get Claire and maybe even Noah himself to trust them enough to let them use her blood. Just seems like the obvious reason to me. Also..how much of the blood do you think they used on bennet out of what they had in the first place?
dref22
It will be very interesting from now on. What will they do to him? Brainwash? Torture? We can expect more HRG episodes. (At least I hope so) He has become more important for the show. I love this character... cool.gif I hope he wears his glasses again...ooohh, I totally forgot about the strike...
iCollectPowers
Well the company has claire's blood so we know hes with them.

I am scared of what they are going to do
