Just re-watched this episode and knowing what comes after, and remember this is a theory not my opinion) is it possible Peter's collapse and coma could have come from the fact he absorbed Sylars powers and the fact he got so many fro one person at once caused it? As I said a theory but what is everyones opinion on it?

I agree. I think that's what they were trying to show.

That's the reason why he exploded too. He absorbed too many powers at once.

Yes, Peter went into a coma because his brain couldn't handle all those powers at one time. Sylar's, Matt, Claire.

But, he didn't exploud because he absorbed too many powers. That's what they wanted us to think, until we met Ted.

This isn't really what I was getting into cause that has to do with another episode but I think Sylar is the key AGAIN. Sylar has more new abilities this time and the fact that so many powers from 1 person cause Peter the problems caused him to explode, not the amount of people with powers he has absorbed from.

What I meant was, he absorbed so many powers that he couldn't control his nuclear ability. So because of that he exploded.

I just figured it was just one massive cocktial. I think if Claire or Matt weren't there Peter would have went into a coma anyway, the other's were just added to it. So, one wonders if Peter ran into another empath who had never known they were an empath -- would be send that person into a coma. I think yes.

Milo once said in a video that Peter passed out because he was overwhelmed by all the abilities he had absorbed that night.

I just watched it for the first time myself. I think Peter collapsed because of maybe the fright in being The Exploding Man? That it could be all his fault?
