And watching his eye grow back was pretty gruesome.

I'm not gonna lie...I shed a little tear or two when Mohinder capped him. Completely forgot about Claire's blood.

The part where his eye was healing...wow. That was AWESOME.

I was secretly hoping Noah could be brought back, like that.

I assume Bob did it, but wonder why. Might Noah be going back to work? Coming back from the dead, due to Claires blood, might make Noah decide to allow them to use her, if she agrees, and he's in charge.

I didn't really cry, since I kinda expected him to die because of Isaac's paintings...but having him revived due to Claire's blood was like..

This is exactly what made Heroes great during the first season. Best ending, and probably best episode of the season.

I almost want to say Bobs daughter secretly brought Noah back to life. After all he told her how her father lied to her or what not and used her has there "pet" if you will. Also you see him touch her arm in the car and she shrugs away from him in a way...

That's a good speculation shook but the fact that he's in the company cell where Bob runs ****** kind of makes me think Bob is in on it.

Ya true, only that cell seemed really tiny and run down, while the cells we have seen seem bigger and I guess a bit of an upgrade, as to what we saw Noah in. Who knows though? This by far has to be one of the best episodes yet for me!

Loved the ending! I wasn't expecting that. Maybe Suresh did it to make up for killing him in the first place.

Definitely the best episode this season! Everything was leading up to this. A lot of questions were answered too.

Am I the only one who HATED him coming back?!? Seriously it was so predictable they never keep the important characters dead in this show, SYLAR BENNET WHOS GONNA DIE AND COME BACK NEXT (simone doesnt count because she was a bore anyways)

He had a choice.

He had to choose between a Man who think's he's just an expendable person

Or the man who's trusting him, and helped save his half-daughter. I'm annoyed at him, but I mean, I would have done the same thing(As I think most of you would, if you were in his shoes)

I'm so tired with this "dead" and "back from the dead" stuff. Come on, how many times are they going to pull this thing again and again?

Oh, if a bullet hits through the eye, wouldn't it hit the brain as well? I don't think Claire can heal the brain.

I'd be ok if HRG was hit somewhere in the body, even the heart...but come on, no way anyone can survive the brain.

They've killed off several characters this season (less than last year), and will probably kill another before its over.

HRG should live, and Sylar should die.

And it was predictable to a point. I would have enjoyed it, yet hated it if HRG would have been dead for good.

But it was still a nice little twist. I thought we'd get by it for a second there.

And Claire can heal the brain, as long as something is not lodged in the back of the brain it can heal, otherwise Claire would not have recovered from the branch last season

They keep pussyfooting around it and only killing occasionally appearing cast members. I dont think theyll ever kill off the big players like

Noah,Claire,Mr Muggles,Peter,Sylar,Parkman,Mohinder,Hiro.. you get the picture

This was my second favorite episode after Company Man. Why did his death not look like the painting? The painting had a window pane with two bullet holes in it. Am I mistaken? Also, was HRG's body in the van with Suresh?

Not only is he back, but he'll probably have 15/15 vision. No more HRG after all.

Because core characters deaths only works if it is an epic death. Otherwise you end up with an empty death and a million unhappy fans. Its the writers choice to off someone and many of them have a great deal of experiance in choosing when its the right time and who they can kill without people loosing intrest. If they kill Peter, Hiro, and Matt right now, from a 30 second scene of a guy with a gun (sword for Peter)- would you continue to watch it? You might say yes but I can pretty much guarentee your choice would not be the "popular" decission. These people are in this as a job, they want to be around as long as possible, killing them off is just in bad taste - especially when the season isnt over.

Of course I wouldn't want those characters to die right now because it isn't being built up towards that and there storylines are totally not in that postion at this moment. But I felt like benn et's death was greatly done and the scene where he was falling with the blood spraying out was great, good way to go out, and then SURPRISE(not) hes still alive

He's like one of my favorite characters, I def cried when I thought we was dead, I couldn't believe it or understand why they would off his character. As soon as I said outloud "Don't do it Mohinder!" (yes I talk to the TV) he did it >< then later on as soon as I saw the blood dripping and they were panning upward, I knew he was gonna be alright and I freaked out w/happiness, lmao XD My roommate was afraid of me.

I'm just not so sure hrg isn't elsewhere with an Adam drip in his arm rather than in a company cell with the Claire transfusion.

I like the Adam drip. I can't see Claire going home to tell mom and leave dad in the street for Bob to take. They always skip over those details. Also, people have been shot in the eye who didn't die. Maybe he was healed and not brought back to life. They could have just told Claire he was dead and she didn't check because it was gross.

..yeah, I'm not liking the not dead thinking. Sure people have survived having an eye shot out, but when they showed hrg just before reviving his intact eye was all milky and colorless like any other corpse's and the socket with the missing eye was pretty bloodless. Neither is likely in someone passing oxygenated blood through their system. HD convinced me he was dead.

Actually, Peter and Claire both came back from a brain injury. Peter with the glass from the fight with Sylar, and Claire with the branch in her head. If the bullet went clean through, or they removed it, he would be able to heal. And it did look like he was dead. His eyes were dead before one grew back (That was SO AWESOME!) I was like OMG! They totally killed HRG! And I was thinking Syhindlar is going to have an epic break up, and Mohindy is going to get decapped! I was so happy he came back!

You're right. I'm with you now. I'm hoping that Adam's blood, or Claire's blood is a temporary cure from death. If HRG ever escapes he will start stockpiling her blood and using it like the little blue pill. Clairagra

Who are you talking about? What are the "times" you are talking about?

Everyone who has ever died has stayed that way. Suresh, Charles, Eden, Simone, Ted, Isaac, Linderman, Thompson, Candace, Kaito, D.L., and various Sylar victims have all stayed dead.

Peter, Claire, and Adam obviously dont count. Because of their power. They have all been "dead" true, but their comebacks are part of their powers.

Matt, D.L., Nathan, and Sylar were by no means confirmed in the season one finale as being dead. They were all in a cliffhanger state.

So who have I missed that died, but did not stay dead besides HRG?

I can't believe NOONE (in this thread) has mentioned this yet! When HRG wakes up his first reaction is "Oh shiii...!", just like Claire when she 'died' last season! I thought it was really cool
