When I first learned about Adam Monroe and how Linderman was his disciple and the such similarity of their powers, I immediate thought they were father and son (Monroe and Linderman, respectively).

On, the same topic, I would like to discuss the Petrellis and where they come from. Adam Monroe could be related to them as well. Mr. Petrelli could have been Lindermans brother (with Monroe being the father), which would explain why Mr. Petrelli would always deal with Linderman (we all know how strong the brotherly love is in the Petrelli family).

I guess aside from what everyone else is wondering.. Who is Mr. Petrelli and do we actually believe he committed suicide? Angela is holding much more valuable information than names, and I wonder (and hope) if the history of most important family in the show (the Petrellis) will be absolutely defined.

1. Possibly

2. The graphic novels show how Mr. Petrelli and Linderman came to know each other. They were not brothers.

3. I personally think Mr. Petrelli is alive somewhere, but that remains to be seen.

I thought Papa Petrelli had no powers? So if he IS dead then he is dead. But, all in all when Nathan told Peter his father had committed suicide, that all could have been the "Power of Mama Petrelli"[whatever that is] convincing Nathan of what happened and thereby Peter belivieving it also. However did they ever show/go to the funeral? So Papa P could be alive and doing what!?!?...
Be he looked pretty chummy with the "12 Founders" to be just a regular human. Maybe was sort of an "HRG" type of company goon.

I think we've learned already that powers manifest at different ages for different people. There is nothing to say that after the way Arthur started to manifest a power. "we all found each other-- we were all scared.. we tried to do good in the world, together..." Everthing Maury, Bob and Linderman have said about the company points to everyone having a power. You don't see anyone else's wifes and husbands in that picture: Why Petrelli? "Your father was one of us. A man with great power." Seems like he had a hero power to me.
