Why did Mohinder shoot Bennet in the head? I never really thought about it until today. The guy was like ten feet away. He could have easily shot Bennet in the chest or shoulder to stop him from shooting Bob. "Mohinder isn't that good of a shot. He accidentally shot HRG in the face," you may say. But look at the way Mohinder held the gun. Kinda looked like he knew what he was doing. Support hand in good position and finger outside the trigger guard. The company issues highly customized Strayer Voigt Infinity 1911 .45 caliber semiautomatic pistols (www.http://heroeswiki.com/The_Company's_gun). A shot in the head is pretty much a guaranteed kill. Even if Mohinder didn't know what he was doing and just by chance was holding the gun right, at that range I think most anyone could pull of a shot to the body. Especially with such a highly accurate gun. Mo mo have a little built up anger from the a$$ whoopin he got earlier? Or just one of those things the writers didn't really think through and expect us to accept at face value? Or Mohinder really did shoot HRG in the chest, but Fate redirected it to his eye because that is what Isaac painted so it had to happen?...J/K. Seriously, though. WTF Mohinder?

Does it matter? HRG looked cool getting shot through the eye and blood splattering in slow motion XD sorry if I'm violent but it looked sweet!

I found it took a little away from the scene. I was watching and thinking (as you said above), 'Mohinder is that good a shot?!, riiiiight'. Maybe he's been practising in his spare time. wink.gif

Contrary to sounding like one of the "it's just a television show" people, I think it was for dramatic effect from the writer/director. Getting shot in the face/head makes for a greater effect than just a boring ole chest shot. At least from the slo-mo camera and blood spraying around it did.

I like the idea that Mohinder was trying to aim for less vital parts (ex: the arms holding the gun would be a good choice) and missed because he couldn't aim...

Exactly! laugh.gif

That scene was perfect in every way. The sunset, the blood, his eye and face, his falling down, everything looked cool. It was sweet all the way...Best death ever!
