So, Hiro running at Peter going "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
That was prety tight.
Think that's how he gets the scar? Will he stab peter in the testes? Will he swiftly kill Adam?
See next week on Heroes!
Thoughts?

One of the Best endings this season.
Er, I don't think that Bombed New York Future Peter and Hiro exist any more.
So Peter may never get a scar like the one he had in that future.

Here's how...If you notice, Hiro was running with the Sword in front of him...the lighting will reflect off and hit Peter...causing the scar and giving Hiro time to behead Adam...

I think that was brave of Hiro, but I don't see any possible way he can defeat Peter unless Peter has a total brain freeze and can't use any of his powers quickly enough.
BTW, this was another example of someone just not saying what they needed to say at the right moment. Hiro tells Peter, "Adam killed my father and deserves to die," when he could have said, "Adam is about to unleash a deadly virus on the world. I totally traveled back in time and HEARD HIM SAY that he wanted to do that. Oh yeah, and btw he killed my father and deserves to die." Why would he just tell Peter the revenge part? He just left Ando like 2 seconds ago talking about how he has to stop the virus... but instead all Peter knows is someone else is trying to kill the guy he thinks his helping him.

Peter can not get the scar. Future Peter did not save the cheerleader so he didn't get the power to heal, at least we can guess he met a healer after the scar [if he even did]. We didn't know all of F-Peter's powers. The scar will never happen. This is just my opinion.

The previews seems to show an un-scared peter though. I thought the writers (In one of the behind the eclipse interviews) said they would still include the scar but if it is true I don't think it'll happen now.

alright since i can't make a new topic for some reason, and this talks about episode 'ending', does anyone know how long the finale will be?
2hours or just a normal 1 hour episode?
i hope its not 1 since they would have to rush everything to fit.

Pretty cool ending. Peter vs. Hiro looks like it'll be cool to see. Pretty sweet that it's finally happening. Don't know how Hiro will stand a chance against Peter since they're both in time-stop, though.
I'm not sure why Hiro didn't mention the virus. It probably would have helped convince Peter. I guess killing his father was something that Hiro felt truly made him bad as he had already done it. He hadn't released the virus yet. Still would have been good to mention the threat, Hiro.

Hiro putting his sword away for at least five minutes would have made the most sense as opposed to charging madly at someone who could fry him, but I guess they needed some final cliffhanger and forced the plot where it couldn't logically go.

yup, great ending, best so far this season i think!
so, how could hiro possibly defeat the mighty peter? easy, he runs at him and then just as peter raises his hand to aim his lightning, hiro teleports behind him and cuts off his head. hiro has mastered his powers sufficiently to pull this off by now, surely...
But hiro's character so rarely does the smart thing that seems like the obvious thing to do.. maybe things have changed though.. i hope so! but i really don't want peter to die.. if it came down to it i wold have a HARD time chosing who to die between the two of them.

I agree.. he should be able to instantaneously teleport behind Peter and strike with just a moments time. Wow, I know that wont happen, but damn, itd be cool.

Well... Following the pattern... Hiro rushes Peter, Peter blasts Hiro with a non-lethal blast of lightning, Hiro flies back and loses his concentration on the time-freeze, Adam sees Hiro, Hiro says shimata and teleports away so we can have Round Two later.
That is a Heroes fight. Short, to the point, and over before the first commercial break. Granted, more would be awesome, but it's never really been about action.

Prolly the only way to pwn Petey would be to slice off his head. Them katana swords are pretty sharp...if Hiro were quick, sure enough he could do it. What prolly happens is as soon as Adam is unfroze he simply shoots Hiro. Ha! pwned

Awesome cliffhanger! Can't wait til next week. Maybe Hiro will mention the whole virus thingy. Too bad Hiro didn't stay in the past long enough to go ahead and destroy the virus. I'd do more research on the past if I could go anytime I wanted. It's always going to be there. Hiro is a lot quicker than Peter. Peter's still getting the hang of things. Peter is waaaay too trusting though. Definetly needs to get a bit paranoid

And what is Mohinder going to do? Go to Niki or Molly? I'd guess Molly, since he cares about her more, and the virus at this stage, he thinks, is "potential" risk, but he KNOWS Sylar is a risk. I just hope he made more than one vial of the cure...

The way I see it, Hiro isn't entirely in "rational thinking" mode right now. Hiro speaks about revenge because that's what is formost on his mind. While he did say to Ando that he needs to revenge his father and save the world, I think the revenge part is really what is motivating him right now. Not to make excuses for the writers, but that's the way I see it.

Nah, no excuses for the writers on this one - it just doesn't make sense. Hiro and Peter were both so determined to save the world last time, and they both helped each other. Even though they barely met, they knew they were both fighting on the same side. There's no way they would just jump into a fight like that without even talking about what's going on. Hiro knows that he just went back in time and witnessed something that Peter probably doesn't know - so why wouldn't he tell him that?

Not only that, Hiro had the chance to save his father not once, but twice, and let his father die in dignity. What need is there to avenge him?! It would only make his father's death in vain, it's as if he's once again going against his father's wishes. Why is everyone acting so incomprehensible?!

Your opinion is based on a whole lot of wrong... Claire was saved in 5 years gone, it was stated in the episode, and she was still alive... (Until Sylar kills her later in that episode...) People should really learn to keep up with the story if they're gonna come up with with theorys about it...

Too true, he wants to avenge his father, but I think it goes a lot deeper than that - Hiro's need for revenge is stemming from his own feeling of guilt. He screwed up the past and Takezo Kensei, to the point where his childhood hero swears revenge on Hiro and all his family, only to return to the present and find his father was murdered by said hero.
It doesn't matter that Kensei was a drunk and never would have done anything heroic without Hiro's intervention; all Hiro can see is that he screwed up the past by making Kensei angry, bitter and ultimately evil. I really wish we could see where they were going to take this story line over a full season, but guess we'll have to live with what we get next week. sigh...
