When the Sylar character was first introduced, there was always a lot of questions as to what happened to the Gabriel Gray life. I for one wondered from time to time what went down with his apartment, his watch shop, his family. He seemed so detached from the real world, like a "real life" had never existed for him.
It went without saying that Sylar was pretty much a ghost to all authorities investigating his killings. He went on killing and killing with no repercussions. He still had this comfy life to fall back into whenever he needed.
When he killed his mother though, it threw up a bunch of flags. Why was nobody asking questions? Even if he HADN'T left a bloody finger painting next to her dead body, wouldn't he be the first person the police would want to talk with? I assume, after all, he was her only living relative. When he was conveniently gone into thin air, it must have seemed awfully curious to someone. But we really didn't have time for the issue to be dealt with.
Now, obviously, we know that his actions have FINALLY started to surface and catch up with him. It clears up what I guess you could call a "Plot hole" (If you really want to). For a while there, he was defying Newton's third law. He never had to answer to any of the moral reactions that *should* come when you go around being involved with the drastic things he was involved with.
It will be interesting to see how this starts to affect his life, being that he is now officially a fugitive.

Well he has always been a fugitive, at least as Sylar. But now it's interesting to see that Gabriel is now a wanted man as well. I'm sure that Audrey is on top of the case and perhaps realizing that Gabe is, in fact, Sylar. I really do hope that if Sylar survives, that they bring Audrey back in to his storyline. He needs someone chasing him, in my opinion.

Amen to that! My life has been suffering from a serious lack of Clea Duvall.

I would think Gabe's mugshot might be hanging on a post office wall, but I seriously doubt there's a team of FBI on the case. In fact, it's been so long it's prolly just treated as another cold case. Though to expand on the theme of 'stupidity,' why of all places would Gabe return to the city where he's been hunted (or just wanted) for murder? Especially when he has no powers? Well, he does have Maya...but honestly!

Well, he's not wearing his glasses, so obviously no one will realize that it's him. I mean, it worked for Superman, why not for Sylar.

Yeah. It's interesting that as Gabriel Gray he's considered a murderer now. Previously, he was wanted as the mysterious Sylar. I wonder if the connection has been made.

Hmmm...That might just work. The glasses do work for Clark. I don't see why it couldn't be the same for Gabe.

Exactly, kurt. Think about it, the only difference in Superman and Clark Kent is the hair and the glasses. Those are the same differences between Sylar and Gabe. And besides, people are apparently idiots on this show as about 400 redundant topics have pointed out.

its SYLAR. He wants his powers back and Mohinder is in NY.
Mohinder could be living on the sun and if he were the only one who knew how to get Sylar his powers back, Sylar would go there.
