I think that many had guessed this was the case, but I do believe this was the first time it was confirmed. So, who was Candice talking to on the cell phone? We learned that Candice saved him, but we don't know why or what happened. Would like to see a comic to explain that perhaps.

so I think that it is clear that Candice was talking to either Bob or someone at the Company since they were the ones in control of the Virus. Why not just lock him up like they did Adam?

I think its likely the company as well, especially given that we know Candice was their primary operative towards the end of last season. I can only imagine they kept him alive in order to learn what they could from him. He seems to know the most about how powers work as he's able to replicate their effects. Even more than Suresh.

I think they probably learned from their earlier experience in testing Sylar that it wasn't something they could just PULL from him during examination. They had to use Candice's power to try to coax the knowledge out of him through deception.

It's funny, because I had predicted this happening in the last episodes discussion. LoL.

But now that he's cured, I'm sure we'll be seeing some good stuff from him.
