...get a transfusion from Claire?
As evidenced by Peter - healing can undo the Haitian's memory loss. So if Mrs. Bennet were to get a transfusion from Claire, wouldn't she get all of her lost memories back all of a sudden? Wonder if she would file for divorce or just take care of Noah herself...

When has healing been able to undo the Haitian's memory loss? If this was possible, Peter couldn't have been affected by the Haitian in the first place (since he has the power to heal). I really don't understand how nobody fainted when HRG "returned from the dead." They were a little confused and possibly annoyed/angry rather than really shocked (besides Claire).

Peter healed himself when Adam told him that he could do it.

The Haitians ability isn't necessarily taking away memories, but blocking off the brain's ability to GET to those memories.
He would have to do this by either turning off a certain part that gets to the memories, or by some sort of damage.
Therefore, healing could fix that problem.

... I don't know. In Company Man, Thompson asked The Haitian to describe his ability, and he drew a picture of picking memories out of a person's head. (Like worms.)
... Since he had this ability for some time then, it should have been an correct description. And in that case: The memories are gone. Forever.
... But then, if we assume that's true: How did Peter get his memories back? Maybe his ability to heal kept the Haitian from removing the memories, but like you suggested: Blocked them off so Peter couldn't remember them, and when he told his body to "heal" it did --- allowing him to once again have access to those "lost" memories..

It's possible, that at that young age, the Haitian didn't know the extent of his abilities.
Maybe HE didn't even know how it worked...
If his memories were *Taken* from Peter, I would expect that he wouldn't be able to get them back.

I thought he'd absorbed the ability to remember from Sylar who took it from Charlie.

That's possible, but you'd think that he would have been able to remember right away, if that were the case.
