Milo Ventimiglia once again saved the world on NBC's "Heroes." Now what?

"It's funny how that always falls on my shoulders," Ventimiglia says.

CNN article on Heroes found here.

"the conclusion of Volume Two was the lowest-rated finale episode for the show yet, according to Nielsen Media Research."

I found that part of the article funny... there has been only two finale episodes but they make it sound like this is Stargate SG-1 season 10 LOL

That's like polling three people on whether they like chocolate or strawberry shakes more... and because two of them prefer chocolate they write an article saying "Strawberry is the world's least popular shake!"

LOL it cracks me up... oh well, is CNN the world's greatest "the world is ending" network! LOL

I found that one hilarious as well. blink.gif

It is interesting to note how busy Milo is going to be. We have all heard of Zach's more high profile project so it was good to hear of news about one of the other stars good fortune as well.

I couldn't disagree anymore with how biased and opinionated this arrticle is.

CNN seems to be screwing up pretty bad lately...
ilikemoney09
All the news channels seem to be screwing up more and more lately, perhaps 24 hours of news is just too much.
ColorMeToxic
Fox News is doing pretty good. wink.gif

You've got to be kidding me, Toxic. Really?
ColorMeToxic
Really.

I prefer to think of it as the "second-highest rated finale episode for the show." Or maybe the runner-up.

Hello? There were a couple of mid-season finales in Volume One, were there not?

It's true. They continued upholding their style of journalism-free news. They've kept the facts a safe distance from their 24-hr a day editorial content.

Nope. No finales, there were midseason breaks but no finales. I don't even think the end of volume II should be considered a finale if the strike ends and volume III is allowed to commence. Technically we're still midway through season two, not at any kind of a finale.

To the contrary, they state the facts and keep opinion to a minimum. The networks on the other hand like to interpret the entire story for you so you don't have to think about it at all. Thats not journalism when they never use the term terrorist or in the case of the latest mall shooting spree, hes not a murderer hes just involved in the shooting and counts as one of the victims. Todays so called journalism is responsible for those murders just as much as the killer for sensationalizing previous mass killings. In the words of his friend, "he wanted to go out in style"...

Is it the Journalist fault that there are a lot of people out there with mental problems. As for calling it a shooting, there is a lot of things you have to do to report the news. But one thing you cannot do is make the news. If you call somebody a terrorist then you need to be able to back it up. Wasn't it Cronkite that had a problem not too long about a so call letter about Bush that wasn't backed up.

Close, it was actually Dan Rather -- but yes, good example.

Let's face it, all news organizations have agendas because they all want to be first with the stories and they want to sell advertising and papers or magazines.

Thank God for the web where you can get both sides of an issue. Never get your news from any one source.
