I like Monica. She's capable, optimistic and has a great power. Like the article says, it's refreshing that she's excited by her powers. And it's cool that she is really powerful because of her ability, but it's the everyday crap that everyone has to endure that she has to struggle with.

I also love the fact that she will most probably become the show's first cape 'n' tights Hero, and she'll have her own Big Bad to fight in Volume 3.

I like the contrasts between her and Maya. Monica has an enviable power, but Maya's will cause her nothing but grief; Monica will save lives, Maya will probably end a lot more; Monica looks set to be the new action girl of the series, whereas Maya will hopefully have a more domesticated role. Both great, believable characters. In a way, they're both more interesting than Claire or Niki ever were in Season 1!

I hate Monica lol..Not the person, she's really nice but the character soooo...ugh...

I love her character. She realized her power, and immediately used it to fight crime. Hopefully she gets better at it.

She also looks great in pink.

She has alota southern hospatality i love her accent and if the writes wewrnt so lazy she could be squezed into the main cast

-the show down between knox and Monica [villans]

And I never saw a reason for her to be in the main cast. She was the weakest and least interesting character of S2.

But no, weakest, least interesting (new) character of s2 was Maya. Possibly Alejandro, because they didn't use him in ANY interesting kind of way. Maury is vying for a spot on that list as well.

I agree that Monica didn't quite rise to the level of Adam or Elle, but I still loved her and hope we see her again later (sans Micah, but that goes without saying if you know me).
