Hi, recently there's been some changes made in the Fan Writing section. The Mods have moved stories that are not exactly Heroes stories, as they don't have too much to do with Heroes characters, but more to do with 9th members. They have been moved into BTD.

The problem is that there are so many random and different topics, that the stories are becoming difficult to find. Some of those stories also have a lot of readers. They are still stories, Fan Fics or Fan Writings if you will.

My suggestion is to make another subforum, in Fan Fiction & Fan Creations, next to Fan Creations, Fan Writing and Fan Role Playing, or a subforum in Fan Writing. That way it is still with the stories and fan created material. Just in it's own category.

The way it is now, in BTD, it is very confusing and difficult to find the stories.

I agree, it's too easy for those stories to get lost in the confusion of BTD, a separate area for them would be good.

Some folks seem to think that. I do agree with the idea of a Fan Writing sub-forum, though. After all, the stories are still fan writings and occasionally connect, at least by powers used (if any) to the Heroes universe.

Is there really enough of a demand for these fics that they would merit having their own section? Are ther eenough already-existing fics like this that need to be separated into their own subforum?

It depends on this movement of fics also includes ones such as Sifr's "Askew Heroes" or DarkHeroJ's LOL and ROTFLOL, Steph's "S.T.E.P.H." Heroes/Gremlins/9thWonders crossover, BleuReiver's "Le Resistance" and any fics other people might decide to do, as they do deal with Heroes, but usually draw much more heavily on 9thWonderers themselves. I dunno, it could just be because I like everything organized. In my sig material folder, I have a separate folder for each character I have pics for. When I make a large website, I usually have a different folder for each group of things (i.e., characters, places, etc). So the people who like everything too organized (like me) might not be the people to ask.

Imo, the fics that were moved to the BTD are still fics, whether they have a connection to the characters of Heroes, there's a connection to powers...

Honestly, I'd be all for a sub-forum in Fan Writing, just so we don't get lost in the BTD.
