Wow - they've been together for quite a while now. And for the most part, they've tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye. It must be frustrating to have cameras following you everywhere...

So I've got a question: are random people just allowed to wander around TV sets and take pictures of stars outside their trailers? How do papparazzi get pictures like this? I've never been to Hollywood - I just figured they had tighter security around places where filming was going on.

Not really no. To get on the lot, you need a pass. Odds are this is on location, so photo bugs can sneak their way in. The lenses are also supper good, so odds are they were pretty far away, but close enough for her to notice them.

She has every right to be upset.

I dunno, when she became an actress, do you really think she was hoping no one noticed her? If you wanna become famous, you accept the terms from day 1. Your personal life becomes public intrest, and with someone as hot as Hayden, of course people are going to take pictures of her.

Now if I was with Hayden, I would be taking her out on the town every night, I would want as many pictures of me with her as possible (haha, look everyone, I have proof! I really am dating her, see!).

Being an actress does not not guarantee fame. Plus, she is on a closed set I don't think she thought her picture would be taken. And everyone deserves a private life. Having your picture taken is one thing, but private moments are another.

I mean yeah, I looked at it and I'm not even a Halo fan, but they are very sweet. Still, they have every right to keep their private life private if they choice -- it should be about the acting anyway, but truthfully, i really go back to my main point. Becoming an actress does not automatically lead to fame, or THAT kind of fame- aka the way Hayden is stalked around.

Not to mention it gets worse every year and when she was a kid and getting into acting it wasn't like this. And no one is stalking tommy Lee Jones or the tons of even lesser known actors who just get to go to work everyday and no one takes mind.

True. It is pretty sad that any hot new actress is stalkable while awesome vetrans get ziltch. I have to wonder though, it also seems that the femals celebs are stalked way more, is there somthing wrong with that? I mean sure, they are the only ones you really get crotch flashes from, but it seems like it is all about hot blonde teenagers/young adults, maybe if Hayden dyed her hair and put on 40 lbs she and Milo could hang out in peace?

I think it's because women tend to be more emotional and are more likely to react (or are just simply looking for the attention, in the cases of the newer, younger celebrities). If you see when there's a sighting of a male celebrity on paparazzi sites, they mostly just walk right on by without any interest in their being followed. More of a reaction = more hits for the sites.

I tend to find its the men who get mad at the paps more than women. They get angry, emotional and tend to punch them out.

Young female celebs get stalked more because American society loves a good "virgin girl corrupted" story. Look at the way people salivated over the status of Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson's virginity, as if it is ANYBODY else's business. Yeah, but does anybody care about Zac Efron's virginity? Of course not. As a society we still have not moved past the fascination with "good girls gone bad" or "bad girls trying to go good" - it's the classic Madonna/whore complex. And there just is no equivalent for men.

Which isn't to say that men are entirely free from problems with being stalked/harassed; look at the swarms around Robert Downey Jr. or Owen Wilson when they were having problems. The paparazzi will always swarm around someone exhibiting "scandalous" behavior. The difference is that for a young woman, merely being sexually active is often enough to be considered "scandalous" or "naughty," but for men it doesn't get a second thought. If Hayden Panetierre slept with 10 boys, she'd be labeled a ho. If Thomas Dekker slept with 10 girls, it would be business as usual in Hollywood that a guy is capitalizing on his fame to score some tail.

I don't know why the papparazzi are so crazed with getting certain photos. I mean what would possess anyone to do such stints in the first place? It's like one day someone goes to school and says, "I don't need an education because I want to spend my life annoying and making peoples lives miserable I don' need school". If this is a pitch for a papparazzi job they might as well become politicians. I mean someday I might be famous for something and I don't want the papparazzi invading my life. Only time I would want my picture taken was for a special gathering or if I was making a speech on an important topic, not if I'm spotted in a restaurant in Pumphandle,Canada or Pumphandle,US with someone having a meal. The papparazzi have to respect others.
