I think it would be a good idea to have a webisodes forum that entails everything webisodes (just like the GN forum). It would look good under Episodes or Heroes Evolutions.

What does everyone think?
Begemot Geroi
Maybe Heroes: Evolutions since they're not actually episodes of the show.
Sheindie
I go with BG on that! smile.gif

I'd say give the webisodes their own forum entirely (kind of like what they've done with evsdropper and stuff like that), but I don't know if that would make the forum more busy-looking or what.

This is already being discussed among the higher ups, and Idallia is working on this. However, voicing your opinion on what you want here may make it easier for her to decide on how she wants to go ahead.
SacValleyDweller
Im all for a subsection of the boards devoted to the webisodes. smile.gif

It kinda depends what the webisodes contain. If, as was speculated, none of the main cast are featured and the stories don't directly connect with the main story arcs, then a subforum is clearly a must for the webisodes. It could be similar to the GN subforum.
Leek
I agree it should have it's own subsection, like the Evs forum.

Since webisodes will be available via NBC.com, I think discussion about them should be done in the Heroes Evolution section. This seems to be in agreement with everyone else so far. smile.gif

I don't know if a new sub-forum Webisodes is needed just yet. We know there are 3 episodes that will be released in July, but it's still a question mark whether or not there are further episodes in the following months or during Season 3.

For now I think discussion of webisodes should fall under the NBC.com/Heroes sub-forum.

We also don't know yet what the length of these episodes will be. If they are anything like the Office webisodes though, I wouldn't expect it to be more than 3 or 4 minutes in length. (This is a guess based on "The Office" webisodes that were released after season 2, which were 2 minutes in length.)

I can't honestly see how we'll need more than 1 thread per webisode at this point, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of a sub-forum either. smile.gif

Funny, we have 1 thread per graphic novel.

One of the NBC Universal Media Village press releases claims that the webisodes will begin in mid-July and set fans on a path that leads to the explosive premiere of the third season of "Heroes". That may/may not mean they'll run one each week till the season premiere, but it does sound like that's a possibility.

You sure like to be contentious, huh? And, before this thread, idallia already gave a preliminary answer anyway...

But are the webisodes actually part of the Evolutions-verse, or are they going to be more geared towards the Heroes-verse? That was what I was thinking when I suggested making an entirely different forum for it. We have forums for evsdropper and the graphic novels. The prospective forum for webisodes could be put underneath the forum for Graphic Novels on the front page, if that makes any sense -- rather than bog it down and make it a subforum in the NBC.com/Heroes and Other Evolutions Sites area.

Tim King said they are prequels and so far at last one member of the cast (female) will be in it. They are live action, the comic con NBC page has some pictures of characters.

I don't understand the question. The Evolutions stuff is part of the regular Heroes-verse, just not centered on the same group of characters.

I tend to see the Evolutions stuff as being more of the Heroes Extended Universe, but I do know that it's part of the Heroes-verse.

Okay. That makes sense.

Hey all, the ad for the first webisode is up on the main NBC Heroes site and OMG! And that is just the ad for it. I think you will definately need another subforum for them.

Let's keep all the discussion of the webisode in the Webisode 1: Manhunt thread for now. This thread is a feedback thread, so any comments about how the forums should handle the threads on the webisodes go here, not discussion of the webisodes themselves.
