Season 3 of Heroes is fast approaching and there are a number of spoilers now floating around the internet and other media.

For the sake of those who do not wish their viewing experience to be spoiled, please be very careful when discussing any material concerning future episodes outside of the Spoilers section.

If you feel the need to bring up a potential spoiler outside of the Spoiler area, please use "spoiler tags". They are easy to use and find when typing a new post. They are located under the smileys, in the "Quick Access" box. Or you can simply type the code [ spoiler][/spoiler ] ,without the spaces. If you are not sure if something is a spoiler, please err on the side of caution and use the spoiler tags.

Thanks!

Agreed.

Don't make the same mistake Brea Grant made recently and give away huge returns in CBR interviews like you're casually talking about cottage cheese. wink.gif

Seconded!

People have the right to use a fansite freely and not have to worry about spoiling their viewing experience.

It seems that it's time to revisit this. There have been a significant number of folks posting spoilers outside of the Spoiler area.

There are several ways to cover up spoilers (the black bars). One is to type [*spoiler]text goes here[*/spoiler] without the asterisks. Also, you can use the Quick Access, to the left of the text area, or the Insert Special Item drop down box above the text area:

After clicking either, just type in the spoiler material and click OK.

We will start issuing warnings to those who continue to post unhidden spoilers outside of the Spoilers section.

If possible, can you provide a link to what is and isn't considered a spoiler? Just so some people can have some piece of mind?

I'm mainly only asking because of the Preview that is played after each new episode on Monday nights. While most people do watch them, some may consider them to be "Spoilers" and avoid them altogether. I would just like to know if those previews should be talked about in the episode discussion or the Spoiler Section.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Anything from a future episode is considered a spoiler. This includes previews.

From the forum rules:

QUOTE
4. SPOILER POLICY
Spoilers are references to anything that will be happening in future episodes. This includes scenes from preview clips. At no time is the posting of ANY information about a future episode of any show allowed by anyone outside of the spoiler forum. Even if you think it is "common knowledge," it is still considered a spoiler.

If you see a spoiler in an inappropriate forum, report the post.

Please be kind to your fellow posters in a later time zone than you and discuss the latest episode's plot/storyline only in the episode's forum on Monday nights.

I'm giving this topic a much needed bump.
