The season premiere is just a short week away, to celebrate, the Season Three forum is now up.

You may have also noticed we have recently added links to the top of the Announcements forum going to Beaming Beeman (Greg Beeman's blog) and The Global Couch (Jesse Alexander's blog).

As the week progresses, the sub-forum for next week's three(!) hour premiere will be made available (read-only), and the moderating team will be posting standard episode threads that were introduced last year.

We're still working out some of the finer details, but our current plan is to have all discussion threads for the preview clip show, and the season opener (episodes one and two) all in one forum.


Current episode discussions will be restricted to Members only. Guests and those with validating accounts will be able to read threads approximately a week after an episode's original air date.

If you are a forum lurker, now is the time to sign up! There are many reasons to do so, even if you don't plan to be a regular poster.

Please don't wait until the last minute. If you have problems validating your account send a personal message (PM) to me or wolfbro7.

Hello HEROES fans… The new season begins next week and it’s time, finally, to start up the blog again. As you may know, we have been back to work since April, and we’ve been shooting episodes since May 1st. At this moment episodes ten and eleven are being filmed.

People have been asking me for months when I’m going to start the blog up again – but, to me, it seems that there’s really nothing to say until we get close to airing. I suppose every week I could come online and say, “We’re still filming – it’s all top secret so I can’t say much but it’s really going well!”

Considering we haven't seen hide nor hair of her in promo material, I'm glad to see she'll more than likely still be involved in the season somehow.

A few Heroes related tidbits recently released by NBCUMV:

• The Heroes Soundtrack is now available in wide-release. "The new Deluxe Edition "Heroes" Soundtrack features a collectible multi-panel foldout package with nine vivid show renderings from acclaimed graphic novel artist Tim Sale and 15 commissioned illustrations of the "Heroes" Soundtrack bands from comic book icon Steven Parke." • For anyone that missed the memo, the one hour clip-show airing (8/7c) before the season premiere (9/8c) is now called: HEROES: COUNTDOWN TO THE PREMIERE
  
  
• Heroes will be returning to iTunes Store. "NBCU standard definition television shows on the iTunes Store are $1.99 per episode and HD programs are available for just one dollar more at $2.99 per episode and select library content is available for $.99." Talk about this over here.
  
  
• "Heroes" – The perennial favorite will have more of everything fans love – more micro-sites which delve into secrets revealed on air, more graphic novels, more cast commentaries and more popular webisodes in December. Does that mean if I'm a Villian and I want to meet a nice hero to cure me of my wicked ways that's the place for me?

For those Canadians that I know are out there, I found out today, that Global will be airing Prison Break in the 8-9 p.m. slot. So be sure to tune into NBC, if you are planning on watching/taping the clip-show aka Heroes: Countdown to the Premiere at 8 p.m..

The season premiere repeats on NBC this Saturday September 27 at 8-10 p.m.
