So I have to say that overall, I enjoyed the first two episodes. I especially loved the fact that Nathan is schizophrenic (or possibly so)! He has the whole Niki/Jessica thing going on except... It's Malcom McDowell instead of another him. Har har har.

Anywho, my one kind of concern is that there are a CRAPload of questions flying about the Heroes world now. Obviously we need new and interesting questions to keep the show going, but how many is too many? Do you even think there CAN be too many?

We still have a ton of questions from the first two seasons, a few of which beingggg:

- What the heck does that eclipse do?
- Why's the Haitian always on vacation when the action is going down?
- Will Claire stay young forever like Adam? What's gonna happen when Hayden Panitierre starts to age? Will she still be able to play Claire?
- How come Claire forgot the existence of Zach?
- Is Caitlin erased from the face of the Earth?
- Why was Ted Sprague caught and released by the company instead of being held in level 5?
- Is Nathan paying child support? He better not be a deadbeat dad!

And more added in from Season 3

- What happens to the company if Angela dies? The only ones left are Maury and Adam, neither of which care for the company.
- What kind of mystical journey is Matt going on? Is he gonna be in Africa for like, 243957203957 episodes like Hiro was in Japan?
- Are we gonna see Molly again? Niki again? West again?
- Is Tracy actually Niki or a totally different person?
- Will Monica ever get a chance to whoop some ****** again?
- How is the speedster able to break free from Hiro's time stopping?
- Are Peter and Claire gonna get their incest on?

Feel free to add your own questions! I'm sure we'll be getting the answer to some of these questions as the season goes on, but what I'm afraid is that we're going to be getting a TON more without having some of these answered!

hiro doesnt stop time completely, he just slows it to an extent that it appears to be stopped..but the speedy chick moves so fast it seems like she is moving at normal human speed..

Did you really want this answered in the first episodes? It's kind of a major thing. However, I expect an answer to be forthcoming soon, probably within the next 3-5 episodes. (Just a guess, since they've already hit her with the fact that she either has a double life or a doppelganger.) My personal theory is that Tracy is a completely new character, and not just another personality.


Because, as she pointed out in the episode, Hiro obviously doesn't completely stop time. Which means he simply slows it way down- to the point where it appears stopped.
She moves so fast, though, that she's able to move at normal speed within his nearly stopped time.

Is it just me or is it actually a good thing that we're getting mysteries like Tracy Strauss, Linderman and the whole new future? For the first time ever, I'm really feeling confused while watching Heroes and I'm glad the writers added more mysterious aspects to the show instead of answering everything right away.

I think Tracy is a whole new person who has been around for quit some time. Is she related to Niki in any way?

The writers have to chose the perfect moment to make the Haitian's return an epic one.

-Seems like Matt's storyline is going to be more entertaining and fast-paced than Hiro's Feudal Japan stories.

What happens to the company if Angela dies? The only ones left are Maury and Adam, neither of which care for the company.
-There will obviously be high-ranking officials who will be in charge of the Company following the deaths of all the founder. I'm sure there are still a lot of people who are in the same rank Thompson, Gael and Ivan were in. If Ivan was "their man in the Ukraine", there are probably much more Company men around the globe.

What I want to know is when Claire called PPeter and got FPeter, did FPeter take PPeter cell phone before moving him to Jesse's body or did he still have the same cellphone, number and carrier four years in the future?

quick thinker he is. If I was running from myself and then got cornered and decided to hide myself in someone's body, the last thing I would be thinking about would be checking myself's pockets first.

He'd need to have everything PPeter had in his pockets. What if someone asked for his phone or his ID and he didn't have them on him?

I don't think claire will be a teenager forever. She will probably age to a certain point, around the same physical age as adam..so probably 30's and thats how she'll look, probably forever.



This is a very very very BIG maybe but..maybe hiro doesn't completely stop time. He could slow it down to the point where its almost stopped.

The other idea is that the speedster can move so fast that eventually she catches up to hiros time stopping, notice the trail blur behind her..if i remember right, just before she started to move it caught up with her and then she was able to break free.

As Daphne said to Hiro when she started moving and talking during the not-quite-total-time-freeze, "You obviously don't stop time completely or we aren't having this conversation."

It's a symbol for the show, like the single helix, and doesn't "do" anything except make people ask questions. FYI, there was another brief "lighting effect" in Level 5 that was reminiscent of the eclipse.


Maturing (growth) and aging are two different things, and I suspect healing only works against aging.

I wondered about this myself when I saw the episode. Because she was frozen at first. But then in her apartment, there wasn't the whole trail thing going on.

I think because he caught her off guard. When she realized he was moving, she forced herself to increase speed until she broke free.

actually, i think that the eclipse is more than just a symbol. if you go back to the first season, there was an eclipse very early before every character had realized what their abilities were. it was an iconic scene, everyone stopping to look up at the sky, but it was so early in the series that it's significance may have been unclear. again, at the end of season 1/beginning of season2, there is another eclipse just as hiro arrives in feudal japan to look for kensei. after he finds kensei/adam, they have conversations and adam becomes injured and for the first time realizes he has a regenerative ability. he completely freaks out about it and blames it on hiro, suggesting that this has never happened to him before. since i have to believe that he'd have injured himself once or twice in his lifetime up to that point, i can only assume that he hadn't known about his ability because he never experienced it before. we know that there is a DNA marker for people with extraordinary abilities, but maybe there is something about the eclipse that triggers it or allows the people to access their ability. it's just a theory, but it's one that i'm pretty confident about and that i like to entertain in my own musings.
