Just curious that he didn't ask that.

I think Nathan's a little out of it right now...but good question. I never thought about it. However, if my brother jumped into my hospital room from the future...I don't know if I would have the wits to ask him many questions either. lol

Nathan'd better check his answering machine soon, lol.

You know what I've been wondering, though? If Peter really gets his scar this season, then meets Nathan again, and has a hard time proving he's the right one...

Oh wow...that would be quite confusing lol

Not if fPeter dies soon, which I believe, somehow. The world can't handle two Peters in the same timeline.

Interesting, I never thought about that. Guess I always just figured he'd go back!
GoldSeven
Back to where? First, his future doesn't even exist anymore - and even if it did, the present is a whole lot nicer. Right now, anyway. But that may change. And he still is convinced he has to save the world. And the more he screws up, the more he'll feel he has to put right.

My guess is that fPeter gets killed at some point, and that present Peter will have to accomplish the marvellous feat of becoming smarter than he did the last "four years he spent on this earth", as his mother put it, and sort out the mess his future self left. Peter's in for some character growth.

Remeber season 1, Hiro saw future Hiro die in front of him, so i pretty sure Future Peter might do the same.

Yea but that was in the future. This is more like the episode, "Six months ago," when Hiro went to the past and saw himself but didnt cross paths with himself. And if you also read the book, "Saving Charlie," Hiro does alot of dodging of his 'past' self.

Every show that deals with anything somewhat paranormal or supernatural has some sort of a moment where a main character has to chose which of two people who look exactly the same to kill.

Nathan would be a perfect candidate for the person with the gun, but now we gotta wonder, will he have to figure out which peter is which, or will he have to figure out who is niki/jessica and who is tracy, assuming those two are separate entities and by some miracle twist of fate, niki/jessica is still alive.

Oooh yes, now there's a classic.

But would Nathan really shoot any Peter? Actually, despite or even because of having been shot by fPeter, I doubt he would.

It's not so much a problem of being smarter, it's more a problem of just being off. I get a definite feeling of disconnect between Future!Peter and his Nathan. The guilt that future!Nathan would have felt must be monumental. I mean, he screwed up everything. And we've seen how guilt cripples him already.

The boys are in sync with one another. If one is off, the other is too. But just imagine if things are right between them. I strongly doubt there would be no fracturing world and Peter wouldn't have the scar--which I'm thinking is more of a mental response than a physical scar (unless of course Peter's regen conveniently wasn't working just then.)

So get the boys working together and things will work out for the better.

They could find a reason where he has no choice. Interesting twist would be if he for one reason or another was trying to shoot PPeter and let FPeter stay in his time. Probably not gonna happen because any sort of explanation for that would end up really weak, but still, it would be an interesting twist..
