When Claire was talking to the video camera on the train tracks, she says "This is attempt number 7"

Does that mean she had already attempted/succeeded in getting hit by a train 6 times, or were the first six attempts from the earlier times she filmed herself (in various situations)? I'm thinking it must mean total attempts over the course of the series, not at just this "test". Can anyone confirm this?

I don't have any confirmation, though I'd suspect it's the total number of attempts, too.

In Genesis, it was attempt number 6. Then it was attempt number 1 in Godsend (because Zach lost his memory). So it's reasonable that this is attempt number 7 now that she's alone and without Zach.

It's the total number of attempts. This is her seventh attempt at mutilating herself. She seems pretty frustrated when F_Peter interrupts her little experiment, so I would take that to mean that it was her first attempt with the train. And she wasn't able to get her answer.

Yeah, her frustration (and Peter's lines of "what WERE you going to do") pretty much made it sound like she hadn't been hit by a train already, but it still confused me a bit. Thanks.
