With so heavily featured before the season started about these villains, they were supposed to be the most dangerous? Two are dead? One captured? I thought this season was supposed to be about them? Gosh. Jess and the German got killed off too soon, and too easily.

yeah I agree.
2 dead, 2 captured. At this rate as I said on another thread we'll be out of villains by episode 5
RIP the German.
Jesse... not so much

There's still the 8 other villains that escaped that we haven't seen yet. Plus I'm sure that's not the last we've seen of Flint and Knox. Plus we could see some villainy from the main cast.

Yeah a lot of the opening dialogues have focused on the ability of a hero to become a villain...the inner conflict between good and evil...and none of the characters who died were in Angela's dreams. There are plenty of baddies to go around still.

I kinda miss the original story, of ordinary people discovering their power. Now it's about shoot-em-up and whether they're good or not. I love all the main characters, but it feels a little stale to me. And with all this budget, why can't we get better special effects? The freeze frames are so tired.

These villains are very tough. Its just they were out smarted in a sense. Know losing power due to hostages being released. Jesse being choked while sylar also suppressed knox. The flame guy i think his name is flint not sure would have interrupted , but of course noah shot him. Maybe it would have been different if the german were alive. There are still plenty of villians as well as our main characters choosing a path.

With 8 other villains out there plus Knox and the possible return of Adam Monroe we have quite a few baddies. We still have Sylar also and in Angela's dreams Tracy was with Maury, Adam and Knox.

This season looks like it's taking the course of a season of 24, where the first conflict (i.e. the villains escaping) is kind of a mask and a lead-in to what's actually going on, revealing the true villain(s) of the show.
We definitely haven't seen the last of knox though, and then of course there's the guy who's a living hadron collider. I'd like to see how sylar, noah, and our band of less cool heroes/antiheroes handles him.

Yeah there is that guy too,
but I heard that Claire is going after him, though I don't get how a girl who can heal can defeat a guy who can crush a person down to the size of a atom.

2: They don't need ideas. They've already mentioned one more- Barbara.

At least all of their action scenes were decently done. I'm happy to see none of them got killed off by being grabbed and rolled off of a rooftop. And, two of them are still alive. Who knows, maybe Flint will be seen yet again someday. Knox definitely is coming back plus there are still other escapees out there we have yet to see.

I think that knox will still be out on the run, considering he was the only one that was REALLY developed in the past episode. And the latest graphic novel almost makes him seem like the opposite of hiro. Instead of assuming that the powers were a means to do good, he has an almost childlike fascination of hurting people, of finally being on top, and to him a streetcorner feels like the world.

I think it helps to keep the storyline streamlined.
And it's a quick way to get a few guest stars in for a few eps on this fun show...

well he said that the german is also "at one with metal"
like not only is his power in magnitism
so he might like use metal to heal his wound
or something of that sort

The villains that Mr.Bennet showed Claire were actually the least dangerous.Samedi, Eric Doyle, Stephen Canfield are the most dangerous and the most powerful escapees. Eric Doyle has the ability to control people, Stepehn Canfield has the ability to create black holes, Samedi ability is not yet known, but rumours are that his power is control over the dead. These are real bad guys and Knox is still going to play a big role in this season, and i beleve he will find a way to make people afraid later on in the season .

Funny... I was worried about the exact opposite... That these first four would take up eight or nine episodes and we'd hear next to nothing fromthe other eight escapees... akin to what happened with the founders of the Company last season. Three were already dead, we saw Kaito die, Angela took the rap, Maury tried to kill Bob, Adam killed Pratt, and all the others were killed off off-screen with no explanation whatsoever. I'mstil so very curious about all the others!
At least this way we'll probably get to see all the escapees on TV.

See I've really loved the escaped villans story. As much as I love the regulars, I enjoy seeing new characters who arent having conflicts with morals, good old (new) fashioned villans. So I was a bit miffed that the first 4 got wrapped up so quickly. Plus I have a little thing for the bad guys (namely Flint but more importantly Jesse) so my eye candy has gone for now (me, bitter, never...). But I do like the sound of the other villans running around, not to mention Knox on the prowl too...

well Sylar did say that she was 'special, different' so my guess is that her ability may have evolved to a point where she can remoleculize herself.

i was thinking that for him to not be dead that he may have replaced parts of
his body with metal, so he's almost like a terminator now.

Don't, of course, forget the 'Big Bad' that seems to be rumoured around the place that doesn't seem to be one of the 12.
Also, don't forget the fact that any one of our faves could turn at a moments hesitation.
Trust me, they'll be planty of good juicy villians to sink our teeth into.

IotV, I read about that last night - that appeases me slightly...
I am actually looking forward to seeing more of the escapees, and if what I have heard about their powers is true it should be very interesting. And the direction that some of the regulars are going, promises to really throw the cat amongst the pigeons. I guess Jesse was just a filler for Peter in the end and clearly not one of the major players they wanted to focus on, but as Necropath says, there is the Big Bad to look forward to, and you never know who will come back in Heroes - look at Linderman...
