I was looking at the paintings of Matts furture and noticed one that I thought had Claude and two other faces. If the painter is just focused on Matt then when did Matt meet Claude?

Well I dunno about that, but what about the girl in the paintings??

Course it could be someone else entirely.

Okay, check the paintings out in the screep caps - and that one still looks like Claude to me, not sure why.

Or multiple stab wound/slices him her back, couldn't make it out clear but that's what I saw.

eh, futures can be redirected as evidenced by Matt's "happy family" picture.

I also thought it was Daphne, which really surprised me 'cause, well, her arc is closer to Hiro's one than Matt's one... But since every characters meet each others at few points... well, maybe Matt, Hiro and Daphne (and maybe Ando, too) will team up for something and there will be a crush between mind-reader and speedster... Or maybe he'll manipulate her, telepath-way, for this! Or maybe, like you said, she's not Daphne at all! I mean, we still have around 10 episodes for this Volume, then the Fugitives Volume, and it is possible that Matt will meet this girl next season (doubt it, but not impossible!).

As for the other paintings, I remember:

- His first meeting with Molly
- His meeting with Jessica, when she throwed him out of the window
- His very first meeting with Sylar, when Matt was working with the FBI and Sylar were coming back for Molly. Back then, Matt never saw Sylar's face, so I guess this is why we see a shadow, even in the painting.
- When he was tied to a bed in the Company, thought technically Matt shouldn't remember that!

And that's all I remember. I don't remember any ''Claude'' painting... I guess I'll have to double-check those...

I think the paintings and this new painter was a great way to keep Tim Sale's artwork in the series. I didn't think the lost paintings of Isaac Mendes would last for another season. Didn't mean to get off topic, figured it was the best place to voice my opinion.

To me, it looked like two Hiros. It's seen again when Matt walkes around the stone to see a painting on the right side of it - of what looks like Hiro shooting Daphne?

Ok, on this image, I see:

- Niki throwing Matt out of the window (up-right picture)
- Matt tracking Sylar, like, at the beginning of season 1, when we didn't saw his face yet (middle-right picture)
- Matt trying to read Peter's mind, after the ''Save the Cheerleader'' mission (middle picture)
- And of course, the picture down-left. I don't remember this one at all, and can't recognize the guy... He looks like a mix of Sylar and Ando to me! But doesn't looks like Claude.

So anyway, I don't see any Claude anywhere...

The one on the left actually looks a lot like Nathan. But not sure. Too many guys wearing suits this season.

It kinda looks like when Matt was trying to "convice" Peter to stop Adam.

That is Matt shooting Claire in Company Man from season one. I noticed the awful pattern on the jacket so I checked.



Couldn't find the exact shot but it shows her in the jacket.

Oooh. I wandered about that one, Shizniddle. I kept looking at it thinking "I don't remember him killing some blonde." I was racking my brain for sometime he may have shot Jessica or something. Nice memory.

The drawing on the very far left reminds me of Nathan & Peter when Peter was about to go nuclear... Could that be what the drawing is? ...Or Matt in the square as Peter is about to go nuclear?

And Shizniddle, good call about the drawing of Matt shooting Claire! I'd completely forgotten about that moment.

Good call indeed! Well, I didn't really noticed this picture (I didn't look at all of them specifically), so I weren't trying to figure out which ones were what, but it is interesting!

Maggie: I have some doubts about this one... Since every pictures are supposed to be Matt-related, this one is being Nathan-Peter related... It's true Matt was there, too, but somehow managed to shoot himself! (by the way, is there any picture of him receiving the bullets he shots at Sylar? Just wondering!). So anyway, this scene with Peter and Nathan not being Matt-related, it is unlikely that this is the scene... Moreover, it seems like an indoor thing...

Hey, now that I think about it... It's crazy but... What if it's a scene from the very beginning of season 3? When Matt where running for Peter, who just happened to got teleported in Jesse? The shadow behind the guy in yellow shirt could be Future-Peter, the guy in yellow shirt being Peter getting teleported into Jesse, and the guy turning the corner is Matt about to find Future-Peter, thinking it's Present-Peter? Not the best theory, I know, but it kinda fits the painting...

Also, can anyone shows me the ''future-future'' paintings? The one where Matt is happy with a girl and a baby, and the other one where Matt hold the (apparently) same girl, apparently dead? This girl, in my memory, looked so much like Daphne, which I thought was weird, yet interesting! I just wanna look at them again, to see if it could be someone else, or find any sort of clue about the future... Thanks in advance!

The painting to the far left is a painting of Sylar creeping up on Ted, an exact replica rock style as the one from "The Hard Part." While it doesn't specifically involve matt, its the best explanation for the picture and they look exactly alike.

The bottom left one still stumps me. The guy on the left totally looks like Nathan, but clothes are normally represented very accurately - when did anyone wear orange pants and a yellow shirt? (Mohinder comes to mind given the colour choices, but... )

Mohinder's outfits make my eyes bleed.

I loved all the references to Matt's tales.

Besides, thanks to your link, I have access to those 2 pictures I asked for, but no one gived to me... This girl looks a lot like Daphne, but still not completely... It confuses me, seriously! If it's not Daphne, it may be Audrey: We didn't saw her for a while but this picture looks kinda like a mix of Audrey and Daphne... If it's nether, well, it's a lady we don't know about yet!

But I seriously think she's Daphne! The most plausible girl I'd say.

Yeah! It looks like it could be Hiro pinned against the wall by Peter's TK, but then again, matt was down and out by that point and not stood up trying to convince Peter.
