This was in Edinburgh a couple of months ago, when all the festivals were on. There was a live chatshow thing with some of the guests, and one of them (as part of the television festival) was Tim Kring.

It was all a pretty laid back affair, with the guests on a sofa, drinking beer and most of the spotlight going to a local band. But Mr Kring was there, along with a writer for the English tv show 'Skins'. Now, I don't know if 'Skins' has gotten across the pond yet or not, but it's basically about a group of 19/20 year olds drinking, doing drugs and getting into relationships and trouble. Now I mention it because in their next series they are going to start with a completely new cast. None of the original cast will be main characters and it's like they're starting the show all over again.

This concept intriegued me, so when it was time for people to ask questions I asked Mr Kring: "In Skins they're starting with a new set of people and going back to the begining. In Heroes one of the things I loved about the first season was people discovering their powers and how it effects their lives. Would you ever be interested in doing something like starting all over again with new people in Heroes, or are you too afraid the Ladyy internet fans would let you have it? Because they would, y'know."

To which he replied: "I wake up with that fear every morning." He then went on to explain that they were going to have more characters die more often and introduce new characters a lot more, but because the audiences got attached to certain characters they had to change that. He also stated that some of the questions people with powers were asking themselves in season one as they were discovering their powers will be re-addressed in volume three. He also talked about the production of the show, how they got the ideas, about the story and about superheroes in general.

After answering my question I said about how I'd heard some spoilers and after hearing them I was very interested in where the character of Mohinder was going to be going this series. I couldn't elaborate more because a guy sitting in front of me hadn't even seen season 2. But after the show I went up to Mr Kring, thanked him for answering my question, and shook his hand.

I know that wasn't exactly a major in-depth interview, but I thought it was slightly interesting.
