I wonder why they need him so badly. I'm kinda glad he's back. He was a cool bad guy in my opinion.

I love the fact that Adam is back. This is going to be interesting!
I do wonder what Angela needs Adam for, and why he is the key...
evagolden
Oct 6 2008, 06:43 PM
Well, the only reason they could need him is because he knows something about the formula that no one else know! What is this something, now, I guess we'll have to wait a whole week to figure out!

YAY DAVID ANDERS!!
My only question is, if Angela saw him in her dream, why in the world is she trying to get him out of the coffin. She's bringing her prophecy closer to reality by doing that, isn't she?
Unless...she WANTS it to come true

How our Sarkie passed the time in his little hole.
Seriously, can't he die from other things?
i.e. suffocation, starvation...

Well, according to the graphic novel, he's been dead a number of times now, and he sits there and thinks of all of his ex-wives.
According to Adam, his next wife was coming for him...is it Hiro?

Oct 6 2008, 06:46 PM
The only way to die for him is something is having head removed! Suffocation can't kill him: at worst, it will put him in a coma similar to the one Claire had after the rape-attempt, or Peter after his lost against Sylar (both in season 1, for those who don't remember). But when air comes back to him, ''Hiro you son of a ----''

He's probably only been there a couple of months. It can't have been that boring, lol.

It was not a 'rape-attempt'

People were talking and I missed some of this dialogue. Was Adam really supposed to have "a key"?
...Wasn't he in the process of removing a key from that safe room in 2x11 (Powerless)?

I'm wondering if they're abandoning the whole "wife coming to get me" plot. It obviously doesn't hold true unless...Angela? >_> Plus you have to wonder how he managed to uh...use his bodily functions while he was in there if you know what I mean.
But I'm glad he's back. Adam always kicked insane amounts of arse

He's lived for over 400 years. I'm pretty sure that's like 1 wife per 60 years, lol. Or less cause maybe he never wanted his ex wives to find out about his power so he divorced them early.

Oct 6 2008, 07:08 PM
Well, the thing is, he thought that his wife would get him, but what you think and what actually happens are often 2 different things!
But like you said, maybe Angela! But wasn't she was actually married to Arthur? And Adam was locked up way before Arthur's suicidal (or whatever the cause of his death).
Unless Arthur was actually Adam the whole time, using Candice's ability or something to hide his true face, and make him looks like he was getting old, or something. Didn't Angela said to Peter that Arthur had Delusion of Grandeur?
lol, I seriously think we're going a bit too far, there! And seriously doubt it is the case! Yet, in Heroes, it could happen! lol

http://heroeswiki.com/Image:VaultKey.jpgCould be! Maybe Adam having the key, is actually a literal key! o.o
What I wonder is why Hiro so willingly digs up Adam.
It's like "I must turn evil and avenge my father, even though I don't believe in killing." As if making Adam suffer goes above all possible morals Hiro might have.
Then it's like "Oh yay! Let's dig up Adam and say hi!"

Angela told them that if they didn't, she'd stab him with his sword.
Kidding. He's doing it because, even though he doesn't want to unearth his father's murderer, that murderer is a key (or has a key) that is the only thing that can save the world.
So, tough choice: Keep Adam in the ground, allow earth to get blown apart; or save world at the risk of recapturing Adam?

Wow, who would have thought Hiro would have brought Adam back. Wonder what about Adam is so important to solving this whole mess. Is it something Adam himself knows, or something about his power?
It's a good thing Peter totally destroyed the virus, so we won't have to worry about that anymore, though Adam will probably ultimately have other similarly evil plans.
After all that both Adam and Hiro have put the other through, there's obviously a lot of anger there. Whatever the plan is, it seems likely to involve Hiro and Adam cooperating, which I don't see coming easy at all. Gonna be some serious clashing here.

In episode 1 of this season, Kaito said if both halves of the formula fall into the wrong hands, there was only one answer. The person with pure blood (or the light...I'm blanking on the wording). Looks like it's Adam.

Pure blood my rear, Adam is a dirty rat and he'll spread his poison as soon as he gets the first opportunity.
Angela really loves playing russian roulette, doesn't she? I had thought taming Sylar was an attempt to stop his involvement in her dream but bringing back Adam too?
Hope she knows what she's doing, she's done a lot of crazy things and that includes backing Linderman's "big boom".
She's such a hard character to read, you can't really tell what she's thinking at any one moment.

I think taming Sylar was actually an attempt to involve him in the coming storm because she saw him at her side and protecting her in the dream from the other villains.

I'm willing to bet they need Adam's knowledge of something that has happened in the past. I mean if he can remember ALL of his wives, then he could have some crucial information in the back of his mind that Angela needs.

It seems to me almost that angela has given up on fighting the future. IE: Season 1, "taming" Sylar, having Hiro unleash Adam.
In response to the pure blood comment...I honestly think that peter seems more appropriate (though only equally likely), unless you look at pure blood as meaning non-special then I'm voting Ando...Special-Unspecial Ando...sounds awesome!
Adam's return was inevitable, You can't just drop a B.A. like that off the badies list. Besides who else would be bored enough to teach future claire to defend herself? Was anyone else impressed by how quickly he recovered from his "suffocation" in comparison to Claire's recovery in the "box" with her mother?

My initial thought:
Adam is one of the best manipulators out there. He's had centuries to perfect the art. He probably knows every person who's ever breathed the same air as the Company Founders. He manipulated Linderman, Parkman's dad, and even Angela to some degree in his quest to reboot the world through fire or plague.
Now someone else is playing the shadow game. Who better to ferret them out then the best? It's "Silence of the Lambs" mode. Use a criminal to get into another criminal's mind. It's not that Adam has a particular artifact or piece of knowledge that is the "key". It's the fact that if anyone can bust up a conspiracy, it's him ... he probably knows who's responsible and what they're up to.

When Angela dreamt the future, I don't think she had any intention of fighting it, honestly I think everything she's been doing has been to make sure it happens. Just like in first season she was very intent on the original future taking place and new york going boom. Its possible that she feels the future she see's is supposed to happen, even if its scary, she tries to make sure it comes true.
